2015 Pan Am Games - High Occupancy Lanes

Toronto is screwed. Endless band-aid repairs with no long-term improvements. 100+ year old utilities to service the 100,000 people per year influx. So much red tape around off-hours services (construction, garbage pick-up, deliveries, etc.) that you have commuters mixed with commercial...

Trailering 2 bikes on one trailer

Just remember they need to be snug, not cranked down. A lot of people compress the crap out of their suspension....just a little is all it needs to stabilize the front wheel (especially with the corrugated floor that uhaul has. Tire shouldn't turn once inside a "groove")

What to do with old helmets?

^^ That's an awesome (and important) one GreyGhost! I've never considered that, but I've got a couple at home that'll be heading that way now! Thanks.

    Key rings?

No key ring. Just the key and a small soft rubber tag from Deals Gap. Scratched triples make me crazy...

What are you dressing up as for Halloween?

Pretty serious patience Mel. Would have been a scary one with the visor up ;)

    Brake lever guards

I bought the Driven brake guard that's inserted into the bar end. I have stock bars, so didn't have room for the Woodcraft style one. The Driven guard has a breakaway top, so in the event of a crash, your hand will slip out from the bar, but will protect from front or side contact from another...

Non-Toxic way to clean the grease/grime off my chain/rear wheel

Simple Green? I've used it in the past. With a little elbow grease it works well. Keep an eye on your tires afterwards, b/c the product is a bit slippery on rubber. Also, with that much build-up, I would be removing the chain guard and the front sprocket cover and scraping off the thick gunk...

    Trail Tours?

What package did you and your wife do? Dual Sport Clinic? I have a decent amount of dirt experience, but my wife has little to none. I would like to do something like this next year.

What did you do to your Race/Track Bike today - 2014

Winterized the RR and tucked her in until May. Bitter-sweet really. Sad that my Rookie year is over, but great to have it in one piece and running great still at the end of the season.

    Any feedback on Kapscomoto.com?

I purchased the 3 venom wheel chocks from them last Christmas. Tight fit on the front tire, stablizes bikes very nicely on the trailer (better than the PA ones).....well spent $50/ea IMO. Quick shipping, good sales, support local business, but as mentioned, know what your buying.

    Adding some features

Unless you're 135lbs and happen to be the exact spec Yamaha built the bike around, I would say some Ohlins/Elka/etc suspension bits should be in the top of that list no?

    Generator

BNIB US model Yamaha EF2000is for the price of a used one locally. A few guys out there bringing them across on Kijiji/Craigslist. Some get lucky with off-brands, some get 2 days and need a rebuild/replacement. I'd be the one who gets 2 days, so figured I'd go for the Yamaha and buy once.

Nicely done Hugh! Wife will get over it. You'll never get a 2014 Round 5 Endurance Race again right? ;)

Chain Lube or Chain Wax? - [Sport Bikes]

+1 for Dupont Teflon Chainsaver. Remember you're primary goal is lubing the o-rings and rollers, not trying to coat the entire chain. Give it a good application, then wipe off the excess with a shop rag.
