Dealer Demo Ride: "If you break it, you buy it!"

They transform the bike from a squishy budget-built adv bike to something that can very comfortably hit the twisties and trails. It has Andreani cartridges but I forget which shock he put on it. It doesn't dive, it doesn't bottom easily, nice in the twisties (not wollowing, not harsh). Sprung...

Dealer Demo Ride: "If you break it, you buy it!"

Thanks for the writeup. Looking forward to the review on the 900 Rally as that and the Norden Exp are two bikes I'm considering for the future. I gave this bike a proper off-road test yesterday. It has aftermarket rear shock and fork internals as well as the essential off-road stuff.

    Tool Deals Thread

Awesome, thanks! Ratchet wasn't something I thought I needed until now but as I look around I wonder how these knockoffs are in comparison. They say they have more than double the torque and the reviews are good. Brushless also...

GP Bikes: A Masterclass in Operational Incompetence and Mechanical Neglect

Loyalty goes both ways and at what point do you give up on it? I've been a customer of theirs since the Ajax days as well and continued when they switched to the big building. Bought 3 bikes and plenty of gear. Used to always deal with the same apparel person (Mary-Ann I think was her name) and...

    Pay Day Loans

Speaking of impulse control, here I am trying to be financially smart by using 8yr old phones and not buying meals out but I come on here and y'all are like: https://www.gtamotorcycle.com/xf/threads/luxury-tool-deal-milwaukee-12v-power-ratchet.235338/#post-3050278

Agreed. It was a cash grab and not worth a watch.

GP Bikes: A Masterclass in Operational Incompetence and Mechanical Neglect

No Limit were $150 cheaper than GP for my Motoz rear tire last year. Tire swap was also cheaper and done quickly while I waited which was nice as well. Wheelsport is excellent. They sold me my 300XC when GP didn't call me back. I called twice, both times they said they'd check on inventory and...

GP Bikes: A Masterclass in Operational Incompetence and Mechanical Neglect

Give No Limit Powersports in Cobourg a try next time you need any of those if you're in the east end. Tires/gear/install have been much cheaper there in my experience.

    Trailers

That's the one that I'm leaning to right now as it looks the best made plus has a bit higher sides than others.

    Trailers

Open. The majority of my use is cleaning brush from storm damage or picking up a few yards of mulch so enclosed isn't my best option. My buddy has an enclosed set up for bikes that I can borrow if needed on inclement weather days.

GP Bikes: A Masterclass in Operational Incompetence and Mechanical Neglect

Service wise I've had nothing but good experiences there. Sales though...... The sales person I bought my Ducati from there was good the first time (although my bike had a dead battery when I went to pick it up), not overly good the second time (mostly for communication issues) which kept me...

    Trailers

Picking up a new 5x8 utility trailer and thinking of going aluminum this time as it's lighter. Will be used to transport a motorcycle once in a while and general house stuff like transporting riding tractor, cleaning up branches and getting mulch. Will be kept inside out of the weather. I could...

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

I've ridden both back to back and the Multi was my fav by a large margin. Quoted $1200 by Ken for the desmo service and he always quotes it high just in case. It ended up being $800 and that included changing two tires (valves were in spec, air filter still clean so he reused it so both of...

What did you do in your garage today..?

If you'd just keep the wheelies to a minimum they'll last longer.

    Pickup Trucks

With Ford doing their LOBO trucks, good on Dodge for joining the party and seeing how the market is. We may not see many of these trucks sell in Canada but the US is a plenty with people putting supercharger kits on V8 trucks right out of the showroom floor. Buddy of mine has a TRX and loves it...

    2026 Rides

Better to get that first drop over with quickly. Just rip that bandaid off right away. My buddy farkled up his Transalp with every offroad part and knobbies last year only to spend half the winter repairing a dent in his tank from a driveway tipover. Friggin guy is going to go on one ride with...
