What did you do in your garage today..?

Just had this problem myself. I use my a home-made solution of citric acid, baking soda, and dish soap to make a rust converter. If you can remember to pull them out of the solution after a couple hours and not leave them overnight, light rust should just disappear instead or turning to black...

Yup, if everything's already apart and they have the new parts, not sure why they didn't just slap it together.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

I was already considering installing a panel in the garage, but if I go with a 100A panel, am I limited to a total of 100A of breakers (2 x 50 for the charging outlets), or can I also have an additional 2 x 30A circuits for my 5000W heater and small MIG welder? Interesting the code allows you...

Need new garage door springs in Mississauga

Thanks for all the recommendations. I went with Tony and the new springs had to be custom ordered, but arrived and were installed today. Couple of snags with the way the last company installed my high lift conversion, but he worked around it and now the door is working fine. Would recommend.

I know, my only playlist is "All Songs". I should really make one that has my favorites, but too lazy.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Checked the web site - you make $100 for every 1000 kw/h. So you buy their charger for $300, and in your case you're making $120/month or break even in 3 months on the charger??? Sounds like a no-brainer, but what's the catch and why would anyone not want to go this route? As for the outlet, if...

What did you do in your garage today..?

Didn't know these generic ones existed. I thought about buying a Senna remote to stop reaching for my helmet every time I wanted to skip a track, but for the cost I instead bought a Cardo with voice command. So much better, but I guess you get spoiled and having to say "Hey Cardo, next track" is...

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Reliability of an ICE vehicle needs to be considered in context, though. Rightly or wrongly, my impression of Hyundai is that their ICE engines are weak, so an EV should only make it more reliable. Conversely with Jaguar and their history of electrical issues, an EV may not be a better option...

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

IN or OUT? Starting to consider an EV, but the big question is whether to install the charger inside or outside the garage. I've been thinning the herd and making room for the possibility of parking it inside, but I may not always do so. Is there a charger that can be installed inside the...

I like the Buzz as well, but surprised they discontinued it. Not sure if I'd consider used since single model year run means even more limited parts availability - both new and especially used.

Agree if all you have is paper, but I order online and end up with 4 copies: - one in the Canadian Tire web site: my history goes back to 2022 - one in my email when I place the order - one on paper when I pick up my order - detailed list of items purchased in my monthly CT Mastercard statement...

Exactly why I don't either, but I always get comprehensive. For some reason I'm paranoid about my bikes getting stolen, vandalized, or catching fire without it. I guess the voodoo works, because I've never had either happen.

Ducati single sided swingarm wheel nut needs 170 lb ft, so you need something like this one for that. Also much easier to do car lug nuts with the better leverage. I have a older Maximum with this spec. Keep the receipt even though it says lifetime warranty - some stores require it which makes...
