    Torque wrench on sale

If you had bought a cheap Rubbermaid Action Packer instead of that shiny metal box you could have fit the wrench along with your folding camp chair.

    Torque wrench on sale

I have a 1/2" drive torque wrench, then decided to buy a 1/4" torque wrench for smaller stuff thinking I'd be set. now I find there is a gap between the two and it looks like I should buy a third in 3/8" drive. But at this point I've put so much together using my "mental" torque wrench that I...

    What are you reading?

Just finished a book on the Great Lakes. He refers to them as the "five sisters". Anyone ever heard them called that?

    I also did a thing!

Just like centerstands are more technique** than muscle springs are usually the same. Sometimes you can bend them and slip washers between the coils to keep them expanded. Just one of many methods. ** Pulled up at a bike show and some kid, much bigger than I, was struggling to get his bike...

    Another thing too

Sweet ride. You could do a lot worse than the Bandit. Big easy miles ahead.

    Why, why, why,

You can lead em to water.....

Which boxes? Forget the center stand just make an adjustable stick. Works great! Enjoy the new ride.

    Why, why, why,

Now you're grasping at straws. Automotive stuff works well enough. it's not very often you follow a car with a blinker on, compared to almost every group or demo ride. @TwistedKestrel gets it.

    Who's riding?

Google shows a fence with a "closed" sign. I thought maybe it was a business.

    Why, why, why,

It's been working in car for decades. Not rocket science. If it was mandated I'm pretty sure the all those engineers could soon figure it out. Of all the tech they now install on bikes I can't believe SCS are really the edge of the envelope.

    Why, why, why,

Pretty smooth. Would you wear seatbelts even if they wern't mandated by law?

    Why, why, why,

So driving along indicating a turn you arn't going to make isn't dangerous? "That approaching bike is turning left, I can turn left too" Kaboom! Wow. Can't believe that guys are arguing that self cancelling signals are a safety feature.

    Why, why, why,

It's to make you safer not make up for your short comings. Do you wear a seatbelt when you get in someones car? Or when you fly?

    Why, why, why,

I think it's a memory factor. You're watching the road not the dash, you don't see the light blinking and simply forget. Do a big group ride with newbies (if you dare) and you'll see the same thing. Happens most times when I do a demo ride.

    Always! I like the intensity.

    Why, why, why,

No. I don't believe it is. I don't ride in big groups. I ride with a small group that I have ridden with for a couple decades. Guys that I expect would have a similar number of miles under their belt as you do. At some point in most rides it happens. When it does it's a safety hazard. It's the...

    Why, why, why,

Won't manufacturers put self cancelling signals on bikes! Was out Sunday with a buddy and he left his signal on every second turn it seemed. All the new electronic whiz bang but a safety feature like this is left out. Riddle me that one. Goldwings from the early 80s had them - not rocket...
