    Another thing too

Bought this last week. '09 GSF 1250. Why? I don't know. Riding home from the dealer (in Fonthill) less than 14kms away, I hit some debris. Near tossed me over the bars as the front tire exploded. (1" tear near the sidewall). Tire was brand new. CAA flatbed home, another new tire is on. Rides...

    Fry pans

Shameless plug.... I have a new set of AllClad, if anyone's interested. I used one of the fry pans (forget which one) once, otherwise, brand new. There's a missing lid to the 7oz pot, and the box is gone. 13 pieces. $225.

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Thanks, but a minute late. I went to the Stoney Creek office to confirm the online quote. It wasn't exact, because the online thing doesn't use a vin. With my subtle additions etc, it worked out to ~$100 more than the quote, so I bought it, and saved $400, and got better coverage, lower...

Me too. I bought a bike earlier this week and current provider needed > $1600. Online quote from cooperators was barely a grand (without bundling) for better coverage and smaller deductibles. I'm going to the co op office in a couple minutes to confirm (and sign up).

    Where to get a puppy?

My x used to remove ticks from our dog with a cigarette. She'd put the heater from the butt on the ticks back, and it would instantly spin out. The dog didn't gaf either.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

Doesn't the tub's plumbing have shutoffs just before the heater & pump(s)? Pull and twist do hickeys? Mine does. I've replaced pump #1 twice, and a new heater once. No draining required.

    What about a motorcycle's age?

I like ice cream. My CB-1 is 37yrs old. I pay $500/yr for insurance, and I can put as much mileage on it, and go anywhere I want 365. It's lumped with my house & car.

Call again....ask about a "lapse" in insurance. If you get the same response, ask for it "signed, in writing". I got hit for it when I took 4yrs sick leave from riding. My son didn't bother owning a car for a year, same ****, and different company than me.
