Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

People ordered cybertrucks too with iirc a range close to that. What showed up years later was very different. Until deliveries are happening, the ability to order is meaningless.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

More cost? 1000 km EV no more a reality today than a 2000 km EV. Both may appear at some point in the future but zero are available today. You posted a video showing only renders with a range almost 50% higher than their current offering and pretend that it is available to buy. If they actually...

    How`s your house pricing doing?..

Condo fees seem to affect price more than square footage. I'd try to find a building with as few amenities as possible to minimize fees. If I want to go swimming, a gym pass is cheaper than the fees to have one in your building. Friends bought a 1200 sq ft condo far from the gta with no...

Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

This was commercial grow operations. No physicians or personal use involved. Just pure government stupidity. The licenses have no provision to be revoked if you violate the terms or the law.

Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

They don't even bothering to cancel the licenses of legal growers that ignore quota. In the past, there have been cases where they were licensed for 1000 plants, caught with 50,000 and police seized 49,000 and let them carry on for years after.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

Clamps that stay in the track speed things up a lot. If your situation is really crap, you can even setup the tracksaw on a vertical face. I did that to cut down a cabinet to make it fit down a winding staircase. Added some dominoes and the two pieces drop together perfectly. It's technically a...

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

That looks lovely but is far more space and capital intensive than my needs require. For commercial use, it makes sense. Does it have a scoring blade too or just a single blade?

My parked motorcycle was knocked over by a truck - next steps?

The chance of no damage in bike stacking is really low. A few dents/cracked panels gets to thousands of dollars quickly. If you have a KLR, it's character. If you have an otherwise unblemished bike, that significantly impacts resale value (and for some owners would drive them nuts) if unfixed.

    Document Shredding Cost

My old office used papersavers. It looks like they can get down to $3/box (I assume that is with you dropping off in Markham). For more money, they will come to you.

My parked motorcycle was knocked over by a truck - next steps?

Sorry to hear, that sucks. If nobody is in the hospital, expect nothing from the police beyond an incident number to provide your insurance company. Most police in Canada have completely given up on property crime. Hopefully witness left a phone number. Sometimes insurance company likes to...

The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

Brampton is considering LED crosswalks "to improve safety". Given the appalling driving in brampton, I am thinking the money would be better spent on rising bollards or crash barriers. If drivers don't pay attention to the existing flashing lights, adding more flashing lights just wastes money...

    VPN question?

I've also had PIA for a long time. When I signed up, they checked all the important to me boxes (no logging, multiple access points, torrent proxy, reasonable price, multiple devices allowed without paying more, etc).

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

For tracksaw work I built a cut table out of strips that I assemble when I need it. It sits on saw horses. Similar to this.

Count tanks of fuel. Just keep a tally sheet in the car and put a mark on it when you fill up. Every x tanks, change the oil.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

For sheet goods a tracksaw is awesome. If you are making a bunch of strips, nothing beats a table saw. Level plus skilsaw is a distant third.

Damn. Nice looking killer. Enjoy. Let us know the plusses/minuses compared to your old one.

No fence, blade height wrong, no riving knife, pulling a short board through, saw not stable and probably a few more faux pas on his list.

Needing OnStar for supercruise is BS. That kind of tied service should be banned. If I buy a car with assists, they should keep working without me needing to constantly pay.
