    Manual shift transmissions are safer

At various times, I have driven standard with one leg or one arm out of action. It's not a big deal for cruising around. Spirited driving on the other hand is quite difficult in that state.

Here's an LSV operator that got the consequences. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BBDbYgoFW/ "As a result, a 27-year-old Peterborough woman was charged with: • Drive low-speed vehicle on Highway of Municipality not in accordance with regulation • Drive low-speed vehicle no slow-moving...

    Topping cedars.

The rodents have no problem climbing stucco and brick on my house. I haven't seen them hang from the soffit and climb around the eavestrough but I wouldn't be surprised if they can.

    Topping cedars.

I cut the top off cedars that are ladders to my roof. When they are that close to the house, there is no good solution. If they are taller than the eaves, they don't look great, if they are shorter, they don't look great. I cut them ~12" below eaves. They have grown and I need to do it again...

There was a recent news story where someone accidentally checked that box. Using some tax software and apparently that box was on by default. They got their NOA and saw they had donated their refund. They called and while it isn't reversible after payment, apparently, it hadn't gone through yet...

What did you do in your garage today..?

It's going to float away if it gets much lighter. Isn't it already the lightest bike in the field?

    Hanging by a Thread?

There's a thread on this already that includes video of the crash. Your thread may be in a more appropriate location. https://www.gtamotorcycle.com/xf/threads/insane-crash-in-surrey.235198/#post-3048598

    E bikes rampaging Toronto streets

Probably but that is likely instant death for the whole program. Anything government touches has high costs. There is a proliferation of ebikes because they are unlicensed and uninsured. It's not impossible but I think they'd screw it up. Licensing and not forcing insurance may open the...

As a first cut, drop the weight limit on e-vehicles to something like 85 lbs. That is easily achievable at a reasonable price point. That eliminates the giant DUI scooters, motorcycle replicas and Surron style bikes. It is easy for cops to measure weight and determine compliance. It is almost...

Imo, they are a great solution if implemented properly and enforced well. In the current system, the implementation is dog balls and there is almost zero enforcement.

Vegetarian can be delicious and filling. It's much harder to accomplish that as the list of ingredients gets cut though.

    E bikes rampaging Toronto streets

Driving through newmarket tonight after dark and there was a person on an electric bike (surron style) ripping down the sidewalk at ~60km/h with no lights. That would absolutely wreck an unsuspecting pedestrian. Rider had a full face helmet. I don't know if that was primarily for crash...

Are you going to paint the box to match your fancy new bike?

    Restaurants

Like fancy cars, if you look at it purely as a financial play and consider $/km or $/calorie, fancy restaurants are a terrible deal. If you look at them as entertainment/experience that you can't get any other way, many people choose to spend their money. The upside to fancy restaurants is you...

The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

A comment on another article said rider was coming in with some speed and car turned left in front of bike. Bike got on the brakes hard. Hitting the car with little or no weight on the rear tire caused the tumbling launch.

Should Ontario ban outlaw biker club names, logos in public

If they are carrying a firearm, it would be a stretch to call a shooting a spontaneous opportunity. Carrying alone shpuld be enough to punt you out of youth options.

    Canada Post - Huge losses

Another $673M taxpayer dollars handed over. Does anyone still want to argue that CP is independent and not a government entity?
