I am doing the Temiskaming loop. I eventually ended up where I intended to be when I left home, but I cut out a few sections from my route owing to the rain. Thankfully I am not soaked. Annoying ride? Yes - Primarily because of the spray from the trucks ahead. Here is the route I ended up doing:

A new experience for me. 600+ kms of riding mostly in rain. The maximum riding I have done in rain in a day, counting the number of hours. Thank god for goretex! Burlington - Haileybury

We were there for 4 days. Family trip. Took the PATH train each day from Exchange Place to WTC. Don’t have the patience to drive in NYC. Have done my share of crazy driving in Delhi for 10 years.

I was on hydromorphone 1mg as needed for billary colic. For the last two years. In cases of extreme pain, I have taken 4 * 1 mg at a go. Messed with my head; dry mouth; sore throat. But it took the pain away. After the gall bladder removal, problem solved.

Southwood 13 is in the best shape I have seen it, in the past 4 years. Thoroughly enjoyable! Also, a first for me. A black bear crossed the road ahead of me. It was surprising because this was on the White Fls road, not too far from the 400!

Hey folks, another update here. I have to move this ride for another couple of weeks. I had a gall bladder surgery done yesterday - which was a last minute invite from the hospital owing to another cancellation. So I am on the road to recovery for the next 2 weeks!

Correct - In advance. I have booked a motel in Ridgway near St Mary’s. Cancellation permitted a day in advance. So in case I cannot make it next weekend, I will cancel.

About time they repaired it. The road surface is horrible on those two blind corners.

Looking at the weather, I moved the trip out by atleast another week. Hopefully next weekend will be better.

Thank you @Lightcycle. Makes sense. I will plan an alternate itinerary having a Friday night halt. Hopefully, I may be able to leave by 6:30pm. The peace bridge is an hour from my residence.
