    TwinPegs anyone using them?

Starbucks has **** coffee and ethics I never go there. We do have miles and miles of snowmobile trails and gravel roads just out my back door though. My technique is not the best, I know that so anything that helps is good. I realize my boots are comfy for tarmac riding but probably not the...

Poor Service and Questionable Inspection Standards at GP Bikes

You can take old Harleys to anywhere where they service other agricultural equipment.

    TwinPegs anyone using them?

I do sit often but I feel more confident off-road when I’m standing. I'm not the most accomplished offroad rider. Sit to stand is a squat. Maybe I need to do more gym time. My boots do have a bit of flex in the sole but they are comfy and easy to walk in off the bike so I haven’t swapped...

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

Never mind carrying it in straight lines. Getting them up on the roof will give you your workout for the next few years. Having a contractor lift them onto the roof securely is priceless.

    Where to get a puppy?

Yes. The branded pet meds. They just started doing this a week or so ago. Our local one handed out some flyers about it. I think it’s limited to the flea/tick/heartworm stuff but they have a selection.

    Ural Neo

Can a 500 propel the bike a sidecar and a passenger easily? Without the rig it’s not too much of an issue.

    TwinPegs anyone using them?

Yep, the price is making me think about the cost:benefit ratio although even after several hours of standing on the pegs my legs aren’t doing that well. What price is comfort?

Costco do pet meds with a prescription now.

    TwinPegs anyone using them?

https://twinpegs.no/ Went down a little rabbit hole after googling “leg fatigue, off road riding”. A Fortnine video sang their praises too. They allow you to use your heel as well as the ball of your foot for standing on pegs when offroad or stretching and this in turn lets certain muscles...

    Fry pans

Some of the new non-Teflon non stick fry pans can’t take high heat so be careful. As for advice I’m still searching as I bought a set of the snowflakey ones before I knew.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

I think it’s BBQ clean up day. It’s a propane Weber and has been a champ for more than a decade but the flame output seems a bit off. More yellow than blue and low too. I guess I need to look at the fittings and see what needs cleaning. The tubes didn’t seem bad at all last time I looked but...

I have the little brother version of this torque wrench too. A sale on that one would be better true.

    Elgin Loop

I meandered out today and ended up at Hotel Kenney at Jones Falls. The dam is at full flow with winter run off and it’s pretty impressive. The hotel will be open for food at the end of the month. The snack bar will be open later. Jones Falls road/Battersea Rd isn’t too bad but there’s a few...

    Who's riding?

Not sure if this is a motorcycling crime or not but I was thinking about getting a new bike a few weeks ago and spent time reading through articles etc. New bike syndrome is real. I thought wouldn’t it be nice to get a smaller displacement bike, one of the new crop of 700cc ish ADV bikes or...

    Amazon Price Fixing

Anyone really surprised? My biggest peeve is the change to subscription models for absolutely everything. Want your traction control settings on your bike changed? Subscription Heated seats on a car you already own switched on? Subscription That software you used to own that’s no longer...

    Clutch micro switch q

2015 KTM Super Adventure 1290 From looking at a lot of videos clutch micro switch issues are a common BMW theme too only they have double micro switches for some models it seems. Seems these switches are used for cruise control/starting in gear/ride mode control.

    Clutch micro switch q

That’s the rod actuator for the clutch mechanism at that point I think. That’s fine on my bike, it’s not captive like on the BMW there (a lovely surprise when I first dismantled the OEM lever to fit the Pazzos) but I did use heavier grease on the KTM version. The issue I have is a separate...

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

That doesn’t sound like fun. These airless sprayers are supposed to be the dogs bollocks for painting jobs or do you have to spend a small fortune for a good one?

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

I need to get my siding painted. Wife wants to hire someone in but I’m fine with at least doing lower and ground levels. I’m wondering if getting an entry level Graco airless sprayer would be a good idea (as in…would it pay for itself). Looks like the project line starts at about $380. I...
