    2026 WSBK (spoilers allowed)

World Women's Circuit Racing is a support race for World Superbikes. They follow WSBK on select tracks (marked in yellow in the first post above). Portugal was the kick-off race for their season, five more left. The races are free to watch on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@WorldWCR I've...

    2026 WSBK (spoilers allowed)

Anyone think Bulega can achieve a perfect season in 2026? Pole position + Superpole win + Race 1 & 2 win in every single venue? No real competition, the only one that could stop him is himself, either unforced error or a mechanical, IMO...

    e-sim recommendation

Correct. Only for new activations, as I didn't read the above properly and found out the hard way: However, I did see that the $35 subscription went from 60GB to 100GB, so I did that instead. I only use 2-3 GB a month, but I did upgrade to the new offer just for bragging rights at this point.

I said the same thing about Toprak moving to BMW. Boy was I wrong on that one.

Hockey bags for lugging/storing moto gear (off bike)

The amount of luggage some people bring as carry-on is crazy. One guy brought two carry-on sized luggage, in addition to two sets of ski-boots. Took up two overhead bins himself. If I bring my helmet, I'm making sure I bring something I can stuff under my seat, like a backpack or something similar.

Counts as a personal item in addition to carry-on. Technically it exceeds the dimensions allowed (supposed to fit under the seat) but no airline has ever stopped us and others have brought much larger and more numerous items.

Tire choice FTW! Was tracking Toprak's progress throughout the race, he was top Yamaha before his mechanical. Happy he's doing (relatively) well in the big leagues! Good to see Pecco on the podium again.

Where are all the trials bikes?

True. Also good for beginner riders who don't need the suspension and ground clearance of an enduro. My friend is vertically challenged and really wanted the security of flat-footing both feet. Even the CRF230F was too tall for her, so she put a seat on a 4T trials bike and was happy to be able...

Hockey bags for lugging/storing moto gear (off bike)

I do fly-away rides with my helmet 2-3 times a year. I would never check-in my helmet. Not the way the baggage handlers throw the bags into the cargo hold, or having your helmet crushed by bigger bags as they come down the baggage carousel. No thanks. I've carried my helmet as carry-on...

    2026 MotoGP (spoilers allowed)

Yeah, they removed 8 laps from the race on account of track degradation. That's a quarter of the race gone. A lot of pre-race confusion regarding last-minute tire changes. I thought penalties would have been in order, but nothing... 🤷‍♂️

"Hi! I'd like to take a look at your Sportsters/V-Rod/Buell/LiveWire." "No. Those aren't real Harleys. Sit on this Road King. And then buy it."

I feel like your question can be applied to any kind of retail business, not just motorcycles. How would any of us buy clothing, washing machines, art supplies, etc. if nobody wanted to work the jobs in those stores? Do those people have a passion for clothing? Washing machines? Art supplies...

    Canada Rides - Adventure Training

Having looked at the two descriptions, I'd opt for the more expensive Canada Rides one because of their smaller groups. Rally Connex says 15 riders to a group. That's a lot of people. I just finished taking one-on-one training myself last month. It's always nice to get as much personalized...

Personally, me? No. What sustains my love of motorcycling is that I approach it on my terms, not the terms of an employer or organization that dictates what I do, when to do it and how to do it. And not being able to pay rent or put food on the table if I didn't do it exactly that way? That's...

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Bike shopping is always an exciting time! The V-Strom, Versys and Transalp are fairly similar to each other in terms of purpose and capability: all street-oriented machines, roughly the same weight. You're basically choosing a flavour: Suzuki, Kawasaki or Honda. Outlier here is the...

For peak pricing ridiculousness, you can always count on Mosko Moto: https://moskomoto.com/collections/accessories/products/mule-gear-hauler-bag Has some neat features, but IMO not $900 worth of neat features... +1 We've always used large suitcases, checked in our gear at the airport and...

    Spare fuel

💯 There's a 386 km stretch without services on the Dalton Highway, the most northern road in Alaska (most northern road in North America actually). I was worried my R1200GS with typical road range of 400 kms wouldn't make it because the Dalton is almost entirely gravel and mud. High gear and...

    Anybody need some cellular data?

Also when you're travelling and staying in places without wifi, streaming services chew up a lot of bandwidth. Especially on double header WSBK/MotoGP race weekends!
