I came across this gem the other day, directed by none other than Toronto’s own Norman Jewison, definitely not his best work. I remember seeing it at The Elane Theatre in Scarborough in 1975. Watch at your own risk.I think they used a fleet of Honda CB125 bikes for this movie.
Reserve price for this 1978 one owner Z1R is $35k US. Grab a beer before you watch this, it’s rather lengthy. I’m interested to hear everyone’s thoughts.
That seemed way too good to be true. As I said earlier, Princess Auto sells the “Big Red” 2 ton shop crane with load leveler on sale every few months for $350.
I just recent built my own MiG cart too, could have bought one but thought it would be a nice little project. I already had a pile of 1 1/2” angle iron that I used. By the time I bought the drawers, paint and some other odds and ends it probably cost $200 but way nicer than the Princess Auto...
I’m at mosport now and it poured here yesterday afternoon. I usually watch the races at the snackbar on the hill at corner 2 ( they also have beer) that’s my favorite spot. Yesterday we watched most of the races at The Mario Andretti Not So Straightaway, probably the fastest part of the track...
Amazing, how can you make something like that in China, ship it here and sell it for $125. You can’t buy the wheels, hydraulic cylinder, raw steel never mind the paint and welding consumables here for that much. They must be cutting corners somewhere.
Princess Auto sells that exact same setup for $350 every few months made by “Big Red”. It’s going on sale in a week or two. Probably made in the same factory in China just painted a different colour. Have you ever actually tried lifting an engine with it? What were the shipping costs? I’m...
A buddy of mine lent me one of these for the afternoon. I rode from Port Perry to Fenelon Falls for lunch and back. Always liked these bikes but it was the first opportunity I’ve had to ride one. It was way faster than I thought it would be and a real nice bike to ride everyday. The one I rode...
You absolutely cannot go wrong with a GoldWing. I did a couple of road trips to the Blue Ridge Mountains with a buddy that had a 2008 Wing. I rode 2001 VFR and later trips a 2007 ST1300. He rode the wheels of that thing , I could barely keep up to him and believe me I’m no slouch.
