    Battery Charger recommendation

That's similar to my old one. The switch bottom right is similar to mine i that there is no 2amp trickle for 6V batteries. If you're not careful it will boil a 6V. That says 70amp boost mine was only 10 amp but really good for a bike boost. Is 2 amp trickle for a 6V hard to find?

    Battery Charger recommendation

Thanks guys. I have a few tenders that I use on the main stuff but they are all 12V. I still need something for a 6V battery from my little Honda. And again I really like having the 10 amp boost mode for anything those times that something is sluggish. And @Mad Mike is correct any lithium in...

    Battery Charger recommendation

A buddy has borrowed my charger long enough I've decided it's his. The one I loaned was a 12/6V charger with a 10 amp engine boost mode for 12V. That engine boost mode was great for anything cranky (no pun intended). Any one recommend a unit with 12/6V trickle charge and an engine boost mode?

    Winter stretch

Right now I'm trying to find a coolant leak on my sled. After putting in a new crank seal the old girl has gained her Jam. A few test and tune runs up the street have me anxious to solve the leak and hit the trails. 1980 Kawasaki Invader 440 - On the pipe this thing is more exhilarating than...

I wired one into my old KZ650 after it started eating headlight bulbs. Looking back I have to think the voltage reg/rec was shot.

This is not true of all of them. I was able to discuss a possible claim without having it locked in. Their response was so lame I didn't go through on it.

I guess they would if you rode them in the snow/slush and then parked it inside.

    Christmas Whatcha Get Thread

My daughter made me up a plaque to commemorate our family outing to St Thomas Dragway last fall. It shows all the info from my quickest run - and also that I was asleep when the tree lit up..... Also got a pair of socks emblazoned with "I don't snore - I dream I'm a motorcycle."

How long do you keep your motorcycles?

Not only do cars take up space that should be dedicated to bikes but it also accelerates rusting on your car by putting it the garage overnight. Outside the snow and slush can stay in a benign cold state rather than melt into a salty brine that creeps into every crevice.

It's not something you keep in the garage, that's for damn sure.

It was dry enough here the day before christmas and I pondered a KLR ride but the Squeeze figured I needed to be getting ready for guests.....

Never bought the same model twice in a runner but I've lost count of how many old single cam 750 Honda's have past thru this garage in part or in whole.
