    Daily sports car?

If you're applying ceramic coating every six months, may as well use a wax, since most waxes these days are good for a year. I've used Avalon King ceramic coating on two FJR's and the Z06. It's a tedious process to wash/rince, clay bar, wash/rince again, then clean the vehicle with 99%...

    Normal car recommendation….

My daughter bought a Yaris with ~120,000kms from them. It had ~412,000kms on it when she rolled it. Was a good buy. She didn't have a trade in, so she payed asking price. Apparently, they don't negotiate (unless you're trading in).

    Amazon ceasing operations in Quebec

Imagine if they WEREN'T unionized? We'd be able to see a live leaf game for $25, instead of $425. The $20 pop would be $2.99. No professional athletes would be making a million / week! NHL - The NHLPA is the players' union. NFL- NFLPA......ditto for football. MLB - Major League Baseball...

    Appliances brands?

My Kitchenaid, at the same age was similar. Huge ice build up in and around the fan. I defrosted it a few times, but that got old in a hurry. Called the repair people. $550 later, it was doing the same nonsense in a couple days. Bought an LG......it's been trouble free for 13 months. I had 30+...

Same guy that gave me WNDR said to buy Solana that day (~Jan 10). Solana was $170US. Look at it now. I know more about nuclear physics than crypto, so I passed on Solana. Try DFN.TO (if you enjoy HUGE dividends)

What did you do in your garage today..?

Indeed....never run a carbide blade backwards....... I've used the same 7" plywood blade backwards for cutting miles and miles of aluminum siding/soffit. Pipe is likely harder on the teeth.

What did you do in your garage today..?

Try a backwards mounted plywood blade for aluminum. Works well, and cheaper than carbide.

    Anybody need some cellular data?

My go to is my tablet. Always on wifi, I did a "rough" check, to see my usage. The most I've used in a month was always under 10gb. I expect my phone usage to have leftover gb's after year one, because I'll seldom use it. We'll see.......if I go over, it still works.....just slower.

    Anybody need some cellular data?

Never had a data thing. I hate cell phones, but have one, with the worse prepaid plan going......$100/yr, 0 data, 0 free message, 10 free local minutes, $.50 min after etc etc badness. Since apps are needed for almost everything...........today, I got the $149/yr Freedom plan. 30gb for the...

I've been hacked. They threatened to leak all my porn activity!!! *NSFW PICS*

I had this sent to me about a year ago (sans pic). It even contained my ebay password in the email's "subject" line. Wasn't a concern to me, but, I can see how it could startle someone. There's been several youngsters commit suicide over it. One in the recent news.

Who's still riding? (Fall & Winter 2024 Edition)

I think it's more about temps. Somewhere around 5°C, the summer tires stiffen up. Winter tires stay flexible. I notice it in the cold / rainy weather, it's better with the winter's on. (I was probably one of the last holdouts to use 2 sets of tires, but now I'm a believer).
