I got shot in my garage. I had a worn out fuel pump on the shelf, waiting for garbage day, looking just like the one below...... I was ~5' away from it, sitting down, and heard a "pop", and I was hit in the shoulder by one of the soft rubber covers on the output side. Ima gonna be ok.....lol...

My Honda is 10+ yrs old, and once a year it gets turned over to drain the oil. It was a painful method at first, but I'm used to it now. Plus side is, I know there's nothing left inside when I'm done.

Didn't ever see 8' ers, or I would have tried them too. All 2' and 4' barrinas inside my house have worked flawlessly. I've had more than 20 of both lengths die a quick death in my garage. I gave up on them.

^^^This......I've done it a handful of times. The kerosene burns almost unnoticeable. Mine burned 2-3 days.
