No one raced the rz500 because the expansion cambers hit the ground when turning and they were slow compared to the RG. There is no 400 now that would even be close to an RG 500 however. Unless there was no staights.lol Bias ply tires back then .
If you thought an Fz09 was a bit hard to ride, than its a good thing you never tried an RG 500. LOL. Had good riders ask to ride mine, never asked for a second go.
These are all good and low traffic. The top of the trail is a little rough but the rest is good. A section of 30 from margaree to baddeck is rough the rest is new.
I agree it is good, but here the best road is the one that got paved last. I was on the island sunday. And the best part was hitting the mainland after. 200kms of twisties and 4 cars along the way.
I gotta ask, how did your bike take 4 L of oil and then 2 days later its over full? Did you put oil in while it was on the side stand? The cape breton trail is so so. There are better roads in the maritimes, but most tourists never find them.
I have been installing heat pumps in mobile offices for 20 years. My home has 2 and they have worked in -28c. And I get cheaper house insurance as there is no flame in my house. No need for a co2 detector. No monthly gas fees etc. And cheap AC in summer.
