The Crooks at 407ETR are at it Again

Wonder if Doug Ford has asked about buying it back and what that'd cost .... lower the rates and then remove them when it's paid for (like that last part would ever happen).

The Crooks at 407ETR are at it Again

Rates are going up in the new year. They've complicated things even more now with more Zones and different pricing by Zone depending on time slot. My drive home cuts through 3 Zones but the main one shows a price increase from $0.6504 /km to $0.7772. That's a rise of 19.5%. Greedy...

What did you do in your garage today..?

Fair point as it could just make the back end act more like a pendulum ... having said that it would still add weight over the wheels even if not directly over them. Will be interesting to see what happens ... one would think the guy who originally put the cement in the rear spare would've...

What did you do in your garage today..?

I suspect you'll get even more oversteer now that the back end is lighter by 250 lbs. You want traction back there and that's what the extra weight was doing.

    New tiger 800

They're both lookers for sure. Triumph know how to make a pretty bike.

What did you do in your garage today..?

You're not wrong. For the life of me I couldn't find my Windows TuneECU cable & CD earlier this year. The CD wasn't critical as I already had the program on my laptop, but the cable I needed to connect to my Triumph. So I ordered another one ... about a week or 2 later I found the first one...

What did you do in your garage today..?

I looked on costco.ca yesterday and couldn't find them ... maybe 1 of those you can only find in-store?

    Clothing Donations

With the one I mentioned (Diabetes Assoc'n), all you need to do is put the clothes in a garbage bag, tape a piece of paper with a large "D" on it and they'll send a truck over on a designated day - put it on the front porch the morning of and that's all there is to it.

What did you do in your garage today..?

I've been researching Barkbusters too to keep the wind off the hands .. will decide once I get the bike ... GP found it needs a new fuel pump when doing the Desmo so that'll slow down delivery - was hoping to be able to take it for a ride or 2 before the temps get too cold for me but will see.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

So Polestar is now accepted at Tesla Superchargers. I got my Lectron adapter yesterday ... hoping to return the favour to all those Teslas that were taking up a J1772 spot way back to when I had my Volts ... haha, payback is a b!tch!

New Ducati on the way ?

Yep, Desmo is gone on this engine ... seems the way Ducati is moving as I'm sure people are fed up with doing valve jobs every 12k ... right @mimico_polak ?

New Ducati on the way ?

The new SF V2 almost makes the Monster unnecessary in the line-up.

V2 reimagined as Ducati's new 890cc V-twin motor is the lightest to ever leave the Bologna factory

You're correct. I was getting the Testatretta 11 degree engine mixed up with the Testastretta DVT engine (the latter being the big L-twin that the Diavel's used to have).

V2 reimagined as Ducati's new 890cc V-twin motor is the lightest to ever leave the Bologna factory

The older 937 engine has variable valve timing on both the intake and exhaust cams ... the new one says this: "There’s now an Intake Variable Timing system too ..." so it sounds like only on the intake cams. Guess they need to leave room for improvements in any future gen versions.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

How can this and FSD especially still be allowed as a feature on public roads? Is Musk greasing some palms at the NHTSA!?
