Ah I don’t wanna have to remove all the coating, I just thought maybe I’d get away with sanding and “feathering” the edges and blend it enough that I could polish it and make it shiny and clean looking Guess I could always just remove em and paint it black to match the motor lol

I just like a nice clean look, and take pride in my bike and how it looks. Plus I figured I wanna check the chain cam tensioner so thought I’d try cleaning it up when I have the cover off

So I noticed I’ve got the coating coming off the engine case of the bike, I was wondering if I had the case off. Could I wet sand 600-800-1000-1500-2000, then polish with some chrome polish like mothers ? Will that make it look new again, or are there other ways you guys have done such ?

Well my insurance for my s40 is 66$/month and asked what a shadow 600 would be and I was told it would be extra 45$ so a total is 110$/month for the two of them fully covered

Well it isn’t ALOT of two up riding, mostly when she down at my house which would be her day off on Friday when I’m off or weekends between my shifts possibly not very often would she be on the bike tho quite seldom honestly

Well I mostly drive backroads yes as I live in rural area, I don’t speed but I do enjoy ripping through gears to speed up and etc lol. HIGHLY unlikely I’ll ever be on 400 series roads on my bike. My gf has been saying about getting her license too BUT the issue is she likes riding on the back...

Well I do like the looks of the Honda shadow vlx600 but not sure if they’re enough for her and 🤷‍♂️ I’ve also got a like on a 89 intruder 750 liquid cooled for 600obo, needs battery nothing more.
