I have an original dual sport air hawk that has a rubber bladder and works well with no issues. All the newer air hawk bladders are a different material. I remember reading (either here or ADVrider forum) that they aren't as good but can't remember why. I agree with all the comments made here...

The funny thing is that the low fuel light comes on around 100km remaining and it bugs me so much to see the warning both on the dash and the gps that I immediately start thinking about the closest gas station. Silly I know.

I didn't purchase a bigger jacket. I use two jackets (one adv/touring style for most rides and a mesh style for hotter days) both with the back protector removed. There was enough room in the touring jacket but the mesh style is a tighter fit so I leave the front unzipped to near the bottom...

Mine is the vest type worn under my REV'IT jacket where I removed the back protector but kept the shoulder and elbow pads. I only ride on the road now and don't do track days. I think I'm at the point where it would feel strange not to put the vest on for every ride.

Shane I notice that you have the GT version of the Road 5 for the rear but the standard Road 5 for the front. Could you explain or have I got it wrong?

I should have mentioned that my experience and comments were based on the GT versions of the 4's and 5's. Just so you're able to make proper comparisons but I don't think there's too much difference other than load rating and possibly a stronger sidewall.
