I know this is for spotting bikes but i saw a unique car yesterday. An all black Holden R8 at the Marina on the east pier at Port Dalhousie. Looked very similar to the one in this photo . A fantastic, lumpy exhaust tone. A long shot but maybe someone here knows the car.

Saw the BlackHawk today as i was pedaling near the shoreline at Vineland. Knowing nothing about them, I was surprised at how loud it was. Do they have a "whisper" mode?

Dave Roper had the MV triple there 6? years ago. The sound from the three open megaphones would rattle your bones. and it was magnificent.

I like the looks of that. Twice this year i've managed to pull valve cores with the screw-on head of the floor pump. The lever head on the small on-bike hand pump is never an issue. Been a bad year with five flats on the road this year.

Indian FTR 1200 S? [red, white and black] this afternoon around 1. You got on the QEW Niagara bound at Martindale Rd. in St. Catharines and took off. Great looking bike with a fantastic exhaust note.

Congrats on the CB-1. 13,500 redline, even with the rare stock exhaust they sound great. $1600 is more like a robbery than a bargain.(y)

I've never understood that practice/game. There's a gorgeous red '99? Honda Super Blackbird in Toronto that has been for sale that last couple months. Started at $4,000, then $4,500 and last time i saw it it was listed at $5,000. It's been marked sold twice. Don't get it?

MacDoc, now knowing that you were familiar with John Clare apparently he had a treasure trove of early Honda posters, brochures, and literature. I once got to see a few photographs of him and Honda brass at the Princess Gates in 1978 during the CBX introduction.

Saw "Last Breath" today and really enjoyed it. Edge of your seat stuff best seen on a big screen. If you do go stay to the very end to just before the credits start.

I bought this bike about 15? years ago from a guy in Detroit just for the engine. Apparently he had made a lot of money with it "midnight racing". I've never ridden it at the track and it needs some engine work but it's getting closer to reality. 🤞

I wish, sounds like it would be fun but this project won't see any work til next year.
