Hey,.. what`s the problem, he`s wearing a safety vest. ;) If that guy crashed in 400 traffic, he`s the only fatality. That looks like a red FZ6, shouldn`t be hard to find if they want.
Are you thinking of Stranger In A Strange Land? It sounds like the Trudeau/Carney social credit score utopia. Obey! Comply! You must fit into Karney`s Kanada worthless peon!
Holy Mackinaw! I never followed this thread, just read it this morning, glad to see you`re in recovery. When I saw the title, I thought it was about women. :devilish: :p
Harley also produced a boxer engine, the XA in 1942 for military use. They made about 1000 of the 750cc bikes but the military decided to stick with the Jeep and WLA V twin 750`s.
I`m looking through the latest copy of Motorcycle Mojo and see a 7 or 8 page press launch of the BMW R1300R and R1300RT. The following two pages are a Honda Advertorial for the NT1100. Seems kinda` strategic placing saying you can get,.. what, 90% of the capability for around half of the OTD...
So I`m looking at the 1300RT on BMW`s site...from $28056. Go to GP Bikes, they`ve got a bunch in stock or on order...the top one is $40295 plus tax and license.
Sincerely, Thank you. "Life is funny, skies are sunny, bees make honey...I`d love to change the world" ...kinda` thing. All my family and all but two friends are gone, mostly long dead. There is a long term care facility down my street that cares for some people that are severely screwed up, a...
I`m real late into this thread, haven`t read any of it yet. I`ll have to catch up and see how I fare. Big one is Spinal stenosis, read all about it, it`s challenging. Also arthritic spine and long time, injury related, SI and Facet joint/spine pelvis area problems. Wonky L. knee and seriously...
If you`ve never attempted it wait for someone, or even a stranger will do, people like to help. I`ve done the bump start a few times, hopping on sidesaddle, the potential to fall over is real, especially if the back tire locks, ask me how I know. 🙃
I`m in central Ontario, Kawartha Lakes/Lindsay. Five or six cars at a light is busy for me. My bi-annual checkup at the Durham Region Cancer Center, it`s on Simcoe a few minutes south of Taunton, is anxiety producing. Anything south of 407 and it feels like the walls are closing in. I`m used to...
Should be enough juice in it to bump start. Get someone to push you at a fast clip, put it in second gear and stand on the pegs and come down on the seat hard while releasing the clutch. How old is the battery, cheap replacements don`t last long. I`d say battery, buy the best you can afford.
Engine kill switch on?, sidestand safety switch not sticking and switch plugged in(probably by the stand). Clutch lever safety switch functioning? How`s the ignition switch, making contact? wiggle the key a bit to see how it is. Any chance you pinched some wires putting the case together? Battery...
Just a thought...sure you don`t have a pinch or kink in the fuel line and any vacuum hoses are plugged into where they should be. When I used to drain carbs for winter storage I`d pull the gas line off the tap and pull the vacuum hose off the tap too, and stick an allen key in the hole so there...
You mention the Guzzi Mandello. A while ago Gene/Lightcycle?.. mentioned Studio Cycle for a solid experience there. I looked at the Guzzi lineup there... .beautiful. No personal interest in Aprilia or Husky, I`d take a look at them if they weren`t buried in the bowels of city hell. I don`t think...
I remember Cycle World West had the XLCR on the floor for at least 2 years with no bites. They also has a Rickman Honda CR complete rolling chassis that my friend bought and put his big bore, MTC Engineering 1080cc( seriously, you could almost see daylight between the liners), Weber carb`d CB750...
