Valid point. I did notice that in the winter they tend to give off a slight buzzing and ticking sound.

I am assuming that the recent heat wave may have something to do with it. Garage is hot and I'm guessing the heat killed them. They were purchased via Amazon, so I am not sure how the 3 year warranty claim will work.
