What did you do in your garage today..?

My old Cub would break sheer pins numerous times a year but since getting the Ariens 3yrs ago I haven't broke one. If there's any play in the auger they'll break easier but you likely already know that. Only thing I don't like on the Ariens is the on/off key. I'd much rather being able to just...

    Daily sports car?

You're not wrong. I do feel though that we're one good EV roadster away from shaking up the used ICE sportscar market. When I say good that includes price/range/performance. This might be why I'm finding it difficult to commit to another car right now as /i like to make money on them. Right now...

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

Ours has a slight squeek for the past few months that I'm interested to look into. It's 5yrs old front load. Don't know what's making the noise as they're pretty simple machines but I'll pull the rear off and see if I can locate it this winter when I get bored enough. Edit: Google shows it's...

    Daily sports car?

Check out the Lexus EV version of it. More polished and sexy like the original LFA except, ya know, EV.

How long do you keep your motorcycles?

I'm usually every 2yrs as I'll buy a bike that's 1yr old with only a couple thousand km's on it, ride it for 2yrs and sell it around the 35,000km mark as resale will still be good at that. Often buying in Fall/Winter and selling in Spring/Summer I usually break even on price. My dirtbike I...

    Coffee

I do enjoy good coffee but for now it's a couple cups of Maxwell House or Folgers from a pot. Maybe when I have more time in the mornings we'll invest in something Gucci like many have here. My SIL has a nice machine where they grind beans for each cup and then transfer it into a little cup...

    Favourite Christmas movie

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is probably my favourite. We also watch the following every Christmas: Elf, Home Alone, Deck the Halls, The Santa Clause (all three), Grinch (original and remake), The Polar Express, Die Hard, The Holiday, Love Actually, Klaus. I really enjoy Klaus.

What did you do in your garage today..?

I've learned that if you coat it with enough slick stuff on delivery it'll break less when you crash it (repeatedly in my case). Marriage tip: wipe off household vacuum wheels after using it on the garage floor or they'll leave little dirty tire marks on your white carpets.

What did you do in your garage today..?

This thing is just a big dirtbike so I usually just give it a basic wash but each Fall I give it a thorough clean/inspection. It does clean up pretty nice. Bit annoying that you have to take off the lower plastic and crash bars to take the skidplate off though (oil change).

Not bike related but for winter training/fitness these are half price at CT. The stands often go on sale but I’ve never seen the bag go this cheap.

    Smart watches

I have had the Garmin Forerunner for about a year now and I just use it to monitor stats, track my runs, and read txt/email. Works great and last about 2 weeks on a charge.

    TV shows currently watching

There's a bit of a refresher/recap to start this new season which certainly helps as I forgot as well. We're 2 episodes in so far and it's good. I find Millie Bobbie Brown annoying now though.

End of the day it's still a canned tune and getting the bike on a physical dyno with a good tuner will accomplish more. I had a BT Stage 3 tune in my S1000XR and it was a solid improvement but for the price I'd get a proper local tune if I had to do it over.

    Kisselgoff Motorcycle Museum, Thunder Bay

I have yet to do Barber but I fully agree that the Air Force Museum in Dayton is utterly amazing (even if you're not overly interested in planes). I went in 2018 and saw planes that I forgot existed and one I thought was just a Transformers creation.

IIRC it was Dukes of Hazzard Friday and Miami Vice on Saturday or maybe MV came on right after Dukes, I can't recall but I watched both every weekend religiously.
