Site performance is quite poor today

I'd forgotten how slow dial up was, but for 3 days, gtam has been running slower than that. Anyone else waiting minutes for a page to load? (every other site that I use is fine)

    Horrible roads everywhere

The paved pathways on the Hamilton municipal golf courses are in just as bad, or worse condition. I played yesterday, and I think I got whiplash a half dozen times riding in the cart. Truly pathetic.

Poor Service and Questionable Inspection Standards at GP Bikes

CT - only if the specific location has a motorcycle tech. I had my bike safety done at an auto shop. Owner gave me the poop on setting it up for motorcycles. He had to commit 8 hours to "learn how to do it" and cough up $4500. This is why many bike shops don't bother any more.

    Groundhog bait?

Google says: The most effective baits for trapping groundhogs are fresh, aromatic fruits and vegetables, with cantaloupe being the top choice due to its strong scent. Other effective options include peaches, strawberries, sweet corn, lettuce, string beans, and carrots. Place bait behind the...

I put a D&D on my '01......loud af. Also went 1 tooth down front, up 1 rear......that was a decent wake up. Hindle on the 05. No plans for exhaust trickery on this one. It's a low budget bike......it even runs on regular.

    Another thing too

Bought this last week. '09 GSF 1250. Why? I don't know. Riding home from the dealer (in Fonthill) less than 14kms away, I hit some debris. Near tossed me over the bars as the front tire exploded. (1" tear near the sidewall). Tire was brand new. CAA flatbed home, another new tire is on. Rides...

    Fry pans

Shameless plug.... I have a new set of AllClad, if anyone's interested. I used one of the fry pans (forget which one) once, otherwise, brand new. There's a missing lid to the 7oz pot, and the box is gone. 13 pieces. $225.

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Thanks, but a minute late. I went to the Stoney Creek office to confirm the online quote. It wasn't exact, because the online thing doesn't use a vin. With my subtle additions etc, it worked out to ~$100 more than the quote, so I bought it, and saved $400, and got better coverage, lower...

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Me too. I bought a bike earlier this week and current provider needed > $1600. Online quote from cooperators was barely a grand (without bundling) for better coverage and smaller deductibles. I'm going to the co op office in a couple minutes to confirm (and sign up).
