Because it's water. Water and rubber (unless drag slick) get slippery. Control 'could' be lost running the track, because of wet tires. Starters / marshals at Cayuga always direct motorcycles around the puddle (for good reason). You can do a burnout without the puddle. If you have a drag slick...

    Go to automotive cleaning products.

I do it twice a year. Using up a mother's kit atm, and I bought some bulk claybar online cheap, somewhere. Wash it, rince it, dry it, wipe with claybar & lubricant, wash with 99% isopropyl, apply your favorite wax. The surface stays slick for a few months (parked outside).

What is your Budget for a Bargain Find?

I was pumping 91 and getting ~52mpg with the CB-1. Switched to 93 for a couple tanks. The bike doesn't seem to mind, and I got this today......

Try 26-28 psi, or lower, if you're spinning the rear wheel. And stay clear of the burnout box! lol.

Huh? Small pickup vrs small pickup = apples to apples, doesn't it? Give that f150 a minute, you'll need the "easy access". My 2010 f150 leaked like a sieve. But the leak couldn't be found. I bought that turd new, and it rolled 30,000kms on the way to trading it in. The countless resistors...

Look at the electrical on the Ford. The tape. The routing. Etc. It's technical vomit. As is the remainder of a Maverick (and the ford lineup). MP has parts falling off his. I spent my working years building their junk in Oakville. Enough said. I'll buy another Honda.

All I needed to see was under the hood. This Maverick (hybrid) mess looks like kindergarten kids slapped some parts together. Compare it to a Ridgeline........and, consider how the rest of the Maverick is built (in comparison).

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

Cap them instead. Quicker, easier, longer lasting.

Friday Sept 5 Come one Come all

A Friday night at Cayuga seems necessary. (maybe next Friday). St Thomas is only ⅛ mile. Barely into 2nd gear. I was just into 4th gear going through the traps on my hayabusa on the ¼ mile.

So it's that time again....winter pasttimes?

I've only watched ⅛ mile runs on tv. No interest running on an eighth mile, cause it doesn't add up in my head. Easier to compare on a ¼ mile track.

Re route to Cayuga possibly? I need to get some time slips for the CB-1.
