Another update, it seems triumph HQ in the UK decided to cover the dash + labor under warranty, I suspect this is because it failed while sitting at the dealer, or maybe because the bike was just out of warranty, either way im just glad I dont have to pay 3k 😲 (on top of what I paid for the...

Depending on how things shake out, narrowed it down to either vstrom 1000(gen 2) vs cbf1000 passenger carrying is still important

Update on this.... I got a call last week from the dealer, saying the quickshifter has been replaced and installed and the bike is good to go, I went yesterday on my first day off to pick it up, 5 mins away from the dealer (powersports to) I get a text "we need to talk to you about your bike" I...

Is that what happens when you ride a ducati in traffic?

School is mostly a scam these days, unless theres a direct relationship between your degree and employment (nursing, med school, civil engineer etc) Even then its rough Get some experience somehow (helper or whatever) use your connections (family, friends, etc) and bingo you're set. Union or...

They're underfunded, but also overserviced. Cant bring in a million people a year, with 0 planning and expect the infrastructure to function smoothly 🤷‍♂️

So you got the R9, and the ninja 650? How do you decide which bike to ride?

you dont have a bike? What happened to the scrambler?

When they're not on tinder or stalking women 🤷‍♂️

Been seeing a LOT more toronto police on motorcycles this year, more than the past 10 years combined I would say.... In the past they were also mostly on old harleys, this year they seem to have all upgraded to fast BMWs I see them almost everyday now, riding around in large numbers, doing...

damn, wolfpack got a dct?

Quickshifter on the street triple went bad, apparently its a common issue, internet tells me the OEM supplier is not good, I tried to get the dealer (Powersports to) to install an aftermarket one, they cant do it, apparently they found an "oily substance" near it and that could have caused it...

why you gotta derail the thread man? im trying to simplify and you out here trying to complicate my life 🤣

Wanted to run something by the GTAM people for a possible 2nd bike I want something that doesnt overlap too much with the street triple as its my primary street bike, the idea of a KLR has crossed my mind, its different enough from the triumph that it can serve a different purpose entirely, I...

Nobody's offering vstrom 650s for a test ride 😥 Looking for an easy going, comfortable and capable commuter that can also carry passengers on occasion

You are always welcome for a test ride :)

less is more, always better to ride a "slow" bike fast than vice versa ;) The brakes, fueling and handling on the triumph are better than what I experienced on much more expensive bikes. It does everything well except carry a tall costa rican on the back seat 😥

All the bikes I want are not available...either they're out of stock, the dealers dont have them because they're allotted a certain amount and they were sold long ago, or there is no 2026 model because honda might be planning to update it and bring a 2027

Had a bit of a back scare, so I didnt exercises for about 2-3 weeks. Back in the saddle now though, did core again and some physio exercises, along with some hyperextensions (surprisingly good) Also did some upper body stuff yesterday
