Moi ici, red interior and exterior with a 360. I had it about six months when a rod started knocking hard... which, given that I bought the car in 1986 for $500 cash and drove it like a lunatic, seems reasonable.
Yes and no. I changed the oil and not the screens (pulled the front one, though). Very, very fine and small amount of metal in the oil which is fine given that it's the second oil change and this one did Deal's Gap + some hard riding for 6K. Gives me some time to think about it, and of course...
A lot of people are still irrational about that.
No offense, but if you come at me with a knife and I have a gun in my hand, you know what comes next. No apologies. I know you understand this but apparently far too many people don't.
Thanks for all the suggestions. I"m not sure how to proceed but I'll change what oil I can in it right now.
I can say for sure that GP Bikes isn't going to be doing many more oil changes for me. Like I said, I had about 100ft/lb on that thing and it didn't budge, just ripped off the edges...
I went to change the oil today in the Super Duke and one of the bolts for the oil change is on so @#$% tight that I stripped the bolt head - with a 13mm six-point Sears socket! The torque on this bolt is supposed to be 15ft/lb, not 115ft/lb and I'm worried about the threads when I do get it out...

But I dunno about Max. We'll see how he does but I suspect we'll see him doing dirty things. A leopard doesn't change its spots.
Here's the question that made me ask that one: why have the LPC and OLP not been howling about this publicly? They really haven't been. Their supporters sure have, but that's not the same thing.
I'm convinced that Ford has made some kind of deal with the Federal Liberals and they hatched some of these things together. That Spa is really, really dodgy.
I said the same thing. Went back and watched it - it has a few warts for sure but it watched a LOT better than I remembered it.
Also, not taking away from Thunderdome, I enjoy the movie and I've seen it a few times. Road Warrior I am pushing well over 30 watches.
The best part of them are how amazing the filming is. Beyond Thunderdome didn't quite stand up to it but the rest are amazing. First 1080P movie I watched that had me up and trying to count the pebbles on the road.
I haven't seen season 7. Black Mirror is one I have to watch without the wife, she finds it wayyyy too disturbing. Which is perfect for beers and Sundays.
1960 watts of entertainment while I installed the heated comfort seat on the Super Duke and gave it a wipedown. The roads are wet, salty and sandy so this is the best I could do today. And yeah, I need to sell a bunch of old stuff I have from my rental properties that is doing nothing, the...
