Yes, I’ve seen that one. I’m looking for something with a couple of drawers to keep all the consumables in (contact tips, wire etc.). Plus, I think it’s kind of an unwritten rule that when you get a MiG welder your first project is to make a cart for it. I’ll post up a photo when I actually do it.

Thanks, I’ll keep my eyes open for that. The shopping cart sounds kind of ghetto but it may do until I find what I want.

25k Maintenance for Ninja H2 SX SE

Have you tried the dealership it was purchased from? I’m afraid to ask what you pay for insurance for that bike. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of those on the road.

Make sure you use a 12 guage extension chord if you do that. Costco sells real nice ones that come 2 x 50’ 12guage chords in a pack for about $60. That’s a really good deal, I’ve bought dozens of them for work.

I knew two guys that rode to Florida two up on a Honda CB400-4 for March break when they were 16 years old, a pretty small bike. They wore snowmobile suits all the way there.Talk about a parents worst nightmare. That was about 1978, I can’t imagine a 16 year old kid doing that today.

Do you think he’ll take $100? I’m actually looking for a gently used rolling tool box just like that to build a mig welder cart and can’t believe what people are asking for them. Preferably made by Beach , a Canadian company that use to make toolboxes for Craftsman and Mastercraft. A thousand...

I did Mount Washington on my ST1300, I could see that being a little intimidating for some.As long as you look straight ahead and don’t look down as they say, most people will be fine. I remember as we were going up, you could smell the overheated brakes and transmissions of the cars coming...

Went to Daytona in 2000 for the AMA races and bike week which was something that I always wanted to do. Great racing but I was surprised at how few spectators were present for the actual races, stands were basically empty or appeared so because the track is so big.Met Freddie Spencer there just...

In 1981when I was 17, I rode my bike with my 15 year old girlfriend( she looked 16) to Rich Stadium in Buffalo to see the Rolling Stones. US border guy just asked us where we were going and let us through. We thought we could buy scalper tickets but when we got there we found there were no...

I bought a sweet Miller MiG welder and saved about $500. I’ve got my nose pressed up against the living room window waiting for Fed Ex to deliver it today. I love welding stuff to my bike. https://www.kmstools.com/miller-welder-44-mig-211-pro-120-240-volt.html

Saw this movie when I was 9 years old at The Elane Theatre in Scarborough and I’ve been hooked on bikes ever since.

Would you buy a demo bike ?

I was on a supervised Honda demo ride out of Shannonville years ago. One of the guys mid pack was holding back until he got a bit room and pulled a good long wheelie. The Honda rep pulled the group over to the side of the road and gave the guy a warning. Five minutes later the guy did the same...

Is It Time to Leave the Sport? Honestly… I’m Starting to Wonder.

Everything in the original post is not only true in the motorcycle industry but in pretty much every industry. I blame unbridled corporate greed for much of this. Ever since Covid corporations have had consumers by the b@ll$ with limited supply, they’ve gotten use to these crazy profit margins...

    Marinating Steak

A little bit of salt, pepper, fresh chopped garlic and fresh chopped rosemary. I pretty much only grill nice thick (1”-2”) rib steaks. Sometimes I’ll get a prime rib when they’re on sale and cut them myself closer to 2”. My showstopper side are sautéed mushrooms in butter with a bit of salt and...
