If I recall it was originally a race engine, not a lot of grunt in the real world, opposite of what I would expect from a rowdy KTM single People tell me with a flash and gearing change they become totally different though 🤷‍♂️

I suspect this will be a better supermoto than the 690, with its street focused duke 390 motor instead of the racy and peaky 690 single. Probably better gearing too.

haha I know what you mean, its like strength, cardio and balance training all at once, feels pretty intense, but great for your legs and knees. Knock on wood, I feel better after doing single leg deadlifts, my right knee feels 'normal' and strong.

was also thinking about triumphs, but the DCT (like cruise control before it) is a bit of a deciding factor for me, it is so SO good in urban environments and the city!

Yesterday was upper body, did some inclined benches, some bent over barbell rows, as well as some good ol fashioned bicep curls I do find though with the barbell rows, they put a fair bit of strain on your back, so I might start looking for alternatives to replace them. Today is leg day, so...

well...****..its a cheaper and better AT...sportier, easier to manage at lower speeds...bet it comes standard with those smoking hot heated grips too

Turns out I have a common problem, some people call it runners knee etc...but my right leg is weaker than my left leg, so I have to do lots more unilateral exercises to get my right leg strength up...starting with Hungarian split squats and single leg deadlifts...

When I become a baller again I might get another africa twin. or maybe another triumph?
