Gerbinngs heated gloves with a Tourmaster synergy liner?

I'm just wondering if its possible to mix and match these brands. I have a synergy heated liner and am thinking about getting the matching gloves that attach to it, but I have read better things about the Gerbings gloves. The wiring harness and connections look similar. Anyone know?

How do you keep your legs warm in fall/early winter?

Long Johns in the fall. Come winter I use insulated riding pants (Scorpion). I also have a heated liner. I was comfortable well into the minuses last year.

    New Alpinestars jacket reeks.

Seeing as this thread has been bumped, an update. I've worn the jacket all summer and the smell is still there, although it has faded some. I was mildly annoyed at first but I got used to it. I would suggest anyone else experiencing this return it because it doesn't go away on its own very...

    Cycle Werx

I had a great experience with them. I had a meeting inthe building next door to them and thought I would try to sneak in an oil change while I was there. Despite being clearly busy, they welcomed me me graciously and I was ready to go by the end of my meeting. Plus they offered to look after my...

Here's what happens when you cut off a motorcycle

I think you answered your own question Turbo. Why would she feel the need to apologize if it wasnt her fault?

Whos at fault if a pedestrian jumps in front of your car/bike?

Thats a tough one. If the person walked away from it that's one thing, but to go after a modest estate after you were involved in their death, even if not culpable...I dont know, I guess it depends on the situation but thats pretty cold. Reminds me of China sending a bill for the victims of...

Here's what happens when you cut off a motorcycle

Hah. Yeah sorry, no you didnt piss me off. I just generally resent what I see as a persistent tendency to take the emphasis of blame off of the guilty party and place it on the rider - despite the law, despite rampant inconsideration, dangerous driving, and the like. So that post was not...

Whos at fault if a pedestrian jumps in front of your car/bike?

This is a bit of a theoretical. Yesterday I was driving the speed limit on Bloor around Christie, there was a truck (big and boxy) with his blinkers on in the opposite left hand lane (not the curb lane). As I was going by this woman darted from behind the truck into traffic. If I was not in...

Rode my bicycle to work for the first time in about 3 years.

Darn Skippy. Although most of my route has bike lanes so I dont have to do too much. I also stop for red lights, which is something alot more cyclists seem to be doing. Its good. I did find myself up on the sidewalk a few times though.

Rode my bicycle to work for the first time in about 3 years.

I couldnt take the rush hour traffic coming home anymore. It was brutal this week. I tell you its been a while, and my bicycle needs work, so I just meandered my way to work - and I still managed about 5 minutes off of the best time on my motorcycle for quite a while - about 25 minutes (Usually...

Here's what happens when you cut off a motorcycle

Listen, anyone that commutes in city traffic knows its not always possibile to stop and give lane to erratic and or otherwise unentitled cages wanting to merge. Nor would you want to. What's the guy supposed to stop dead in a moving lane to give way to somone that , by law, is supposed to be...

Motorcyclists giving us a bad rep.

I dont want to be the inevitable GTAMer that criticizes the OP when he's trying to get some support, so please take this with a grain of salt, but the whole story seems a bit one sided "So I was on my way to the local orphanage to hand out presents when, all off a sudden...." Are you sure you...

Here's what happens when you cut off a motorcycle

Right of way YellowDuck. Forward moving traffic cant be expected to yield to anyone and everyone that wants to change lanes. The onus is on the cage to proceed safely or not at all.

Is it wrong using rear brake in a corner ?

I was told to do this by my RTI instructor when I was getting my M (It was suggested not ordered). I see no reason to brake in corners unless there is a reason to stop or slow down. I thought it was weird she suggested it.
