I'm guessing you have an open diff and the TC simulates an LSD by applying brake to the slipping wheel... Would be interesting to compare with a mechanical LSD.
ABS isn't there to reduce braking distance, and on a loose surface it will in fact increase it. The advantage is that you don't worry about lockup.

When I started out I routinely practiced emergency braking and locked either brake to get accustomed to the feel of it. You can lock the rear from accidentally dumping the clutch in the wet and abs won't help you there.
Now I routinely lock my rear on purpose when making really tight...
Never owned a bike with abs tc etc, but I definitely don't like the technology in cars.
I think it's useful for operators that have never explored the limits of their vehicles and quite frankly aren't that skilled. As an enthusiast, I don't want something between me and the controls, changing...
And that's the problem. The electronics don't measure intent and can end up working against you. They're better at being nannies which is what they're programmed to do.

Decided to ride today and low-sided a block from my house LOL. It seems there was a thin layer frost on the road... The sun hadn't hit that section yet and it felt slippery even to my boots after I got up. Luckily I didn't break anything...
Too bad the Honda production racers don't seem to be doing so well... I was excited when I heard Stoner was putting out competitive laps on them but I guess he'd get pole position riding a donkey....
