Car Buying - What Made your Experience Great?

I've never had a good experience, but I do have a fantasy :) 1. Sales person knows more about the cars they're selling than I do. 2. Test drive highlights all the positives the car has compared to competition. 3. Sales person is upfront about the compromises made to the car, I.e. space power...

    Ninja 250 on a Go-Kart Track

I don't see anything out of the ordinary in that video tbh.

    MotoGP 2014

Personally I like to hear the factors that a rider feels limited their performance. Saying "I tried my best but it wasn't my day" is boring and unintelligent. It would be bad of either Cal or Lorenzo acted like they always should be winning and gave no credit to their opponents but that's not...

    Off leash dog complaints

There is a lot of info missing from this story. A dog doesn't just bite without warning. And to take a chunk of flesh? It would have to be really ******. Maybe people can't be trusted either.

Which one would you take home?

It's a problem when you have to lie to yourself that she's not a man. Loving an illusion never ends well.

Which one would you take home?

Friend of mine once hooked up with a tranny and fell in love... so moral of the story: not even once!

    Questions for serious Musicians

About guitar: It's kind of like dancing, you can have every move planned or allow a little room for improvisation. I was once on stage playing songs I had barely even heard before so I had to come up with a style on the spot - most fun I ever had haha. Regarding solos, if I think I already...

Are there any courses designed specifically to teach counter-steering?

This only accounts for a small portion of the force that causes the lean. Moving the contract patch from under the center of gravity does most of the work.

Are there any courses designed specifically to teach counter-steering?

People all over the world just get on the bike and ride - your body figures out what to do. If you can ride a bicycle you're good to start. The video posted is very good information but don't take it as gospel either.

    EverStart ES9BS Battery - * Awesome! *

I had got this battery a 2 or 3 years ago from Walmart but last fall I didn't bother to take it out for charging as I was planning on putting a lighter battery in this spring. Anyways, today I got the itch to take the bike out and to my amazement with the old battery it was cranking like a...

    Foot controls question.

Sounds like you're with state farm? That's not a good choice for cruisers. The insurance forum has lots of good info. Also I'd give the forward controls a try for a few days before ordering new parts. You might end up liking them.

    Car Spotting

I don't know anything about the burgman, but if it can outperform an HP4 and cost half the price, then yeah, I'd enjoy it big time.

It spanks the "masterpieces" around the track while carrying 4 people and their luggage. To me thats the masterpiece.

New Rider - the ABS dilema

I drive a manual and hard stops are with the clutch in. I pulled the ABS fuse to test and and I can stop a car length shorter from 50kph without ABS. Loose surfaces require more lockup. As for putting in neutral, most new cars have brake assist which basically predicts that you are doing an...
