Another vote for the DoD camera/GPS. More functions than I can ever use, great video day and night, and a variety of models to choose from. GPS versions started at $250 about 6 months ago, could be less by now. Purchased at Radioworld, awesome guys that know their products inside out.

Pro 6 has pretty big sheets of it for cheap.

Theoretically you can transfer it into your name as an unfit vehicle, you don't need a license or insurance or a safety inspection. Or go for "Fit - Unplated" if you have the safety inspection. You only need a license and insurance if you want to ride it - but who knows what they will say at...

Did you try Rider's Choice? If they can't get it, I would try Sportbike Track Gear in Michigan or Tom at Biohazard Cycles Inc. in Florida.

I agree Motul 300V for the track. For the street I use Motul 7100. Those are my thoughts.

You'd have to strip the chrome first, then talk to the powdercoater, he should be able to keep it under 300 degrees if he extends the cure time a bit. Are you sure powdercoat won't crack wen the coil compresses?

I'm not sure about Ontario rules for this, but when the helmet manufacturers say that affixing a camera could compromise the integrity of the helmet in a crash it's enough for me to mount the camera on the bike. There is 4 or 5 spots with power that would be ok for an RV. Most all of the pit spots have power, but only for warmers, not trailer stuff. There's always someone there to change tires, but to be safe I'd recommend bringing a spare set just in case they don't have your size. Michelin kind of...
