should i go with a liter

Yes I picked up a 2014 Yamaha R1 on special last week. It's in a crate waiting to be opened up in April. :)

    Do you charge family $$

Never mix family and business unless you want to risk the potential for bad "blood". This applies mostly to anyone who has a propensity to complain about a job not done well. Think about that awkward moment when your work/favour is being questioned.

should i go with a liter

I'm about one season ahead of where you are now. Last season I changed my sprockets and it satisfied me for a bit. I'm very comfortable on my SS riding for long hours as well. After going to the track the streets don't have the same appeal and I thought I was going to be sensible and buy a...

When the TFSA option first came out I also started with ING/Tangerine account with very low interest rate. It's better than keeping it in your saving account that's for sure. You can move that over to your local bank trading account and have the option of trading stocks, mutual funds or ETF's...

should i go with a liter

BUSA or ZX14 are great for the street. Comfortable riding position, much more so than an SS. And still have gobs of power to keep your heart pumping. Only reason I didn't opt for one is I plan to take my bike on the track and they are not as nimble as the litre or middleweight SS bikes. Check...

should i go with a liter

Go to the track and find out how much fun your 600 really is. Last year I changed my sprockets on my ZX6R and it made a big difference both on the street and the track. Found out that she was definitely more thirsty though especially at the track. If you're like me then you're never really...

There is nothing wrong with tech. I work in the tech industry and its done very well for me over the years. Apple, Oracle, Microsoft, OpenText. Intel and many more are great stocks. Don't be afraid of any one sector but at the same time don't buy if your not familiar or comfortable doing so...

Very valid points and same reason why it didn't hit my radar. For anyone starting out don't play the get rich quick game. Buy companies that are undervalued, have money in the bank and are making profits. Once you have some play money feel free to try speculative stocks. After all, there is a...

^^+1 No worries take what you like from my posts. Just make sure to research everything even things that I tell you. :) Boots: I don’t own Tesla, wish I did back when it was $50 though. Below are a few Canadian Stocks I own and that I like now: CGI.TO, BAM/A.TO, CNR.TO, TD.TO, VRX.TO, SW.TO...

Totally agree with you on the Sell on stop strategy. However, everyone has different risk tolerances, therefore for the risk averse among us I also agree with LiNK666 on taking a bit of profit off the top while leaving the base investment to grow with the rising stock. By doing this enough...

LOL. Life is short and you gotta live it. All I'm saying is know where your money is being spent and spend it wisely. For most people they don't really know where there money is being spent especially when it comes to coffee and take out that is purchased with cash. Reality is if you want to be...

Np. First book I ever read was the wealthy barber. I recommend rich dad poor dad by Robert Kiyosaki to give you a different perspective on what's an asset versus a liability and also how to understand the Cashflow Quadrant. Another very quick read is The Idiot Millionaire by Derek Foster...

Cool thanks! I've heard how problematic the R/R can be so I'll just keep it where it is for now which is on the right side of the bike just under the gas tank. I'll make sure to mount it against the bodywork just like stock setup. I'm just so tempted to splice the unneeded wires but I guess I...

^^+1 I don't use a banking financial adviser anymore for this reason and handle my own portfolio. However, the point is for anyone who is starting out, free advice from your bank is better than trying to figure it out on GTAM. Especially if your not the type to read up or research these things...

Thanks! What's a kit manual and where can I find one? I'm sure with the new bodywork I can easily tuck all the wiring away. It's just now that it's a dedicated track bike and I took off all the expensive lighting if I chose to ride it naked I was curious where to mount everything. That's...

Looking to get Armour Bodies for my ZX6R this season. Was about to ask what u guys with Ninjas do with regulator/rectifier and headlight wiring, but looks like from doozerdave picture above, rather than splicing its taped up tight and tucked away. Doesn't the regulator need good airflow though...

Did my last track day for this season at TMP with my new speigler brake lines, woodcraft rearsets, Divx Sprockets and Chain. And also played around with suspension at the track. Felt like a brand new toy!
