Cool. Sadly, if there was more of an upright seating option for a sports bike, I would have got one. But they are almost all the more leaned over sporty style and it's just not in my physical best interest.
The closest i got was the NC700X, but it was just too high for me to use comfortably.
Yes i saw this. Problem is, the only difference between this one and the "N model - Which is a cruiser". Is the fairing and slightly different centre of gravity. So I don't see how that makes it a touring bike.
It has none of the features of a touring bike at all.
So to me, it's a cruiser:)
Almost every dealer i called was out of them, there was 1 left in canada that was not put together and in a dealer.
So I'd say they sold pretty well:)
We found one of the last ones, there was one other, but the dealer didn't put it together very well and even though the price was good(It was...
Welcome tengu. I'm in mississauga also. If you see a guy in red gear on a red honda ctx700t(look like a touring style bike, it's a cruiser). That's me.

Feels like a sport cruiser, the 700N is a cruiser and the T is just the N model with fairing. Slightly heavier.
It doesn't have the touring foot positions etc.
after reading this, it sounds like your dad or a parent bought this bike for you etc and is in control of your riding and what you do.
This is not conductive to your learning or gaining confidence.
I understand you want to learn in a controlled and safe environment, but real life is not safe or...
I don't feel this is beneficial for you.
If you took the course and passed, you have the basics you need to go on your own. I took the course and not more then 4 days later, I was out on the back roads behind my house, learning, shifting and moving. I did that for a few days and then i hit the...
More of a difference then i thought.
The bike is heavier then my old 250, it doesn't have the same stopping power as the 250, doesn't stop on a dime like the 250(you kinda slow down, then stop, even if you grab and handful of brake).
It's also won't take a turn as tight as my 250 did.
It's...
Forum called "Fallen Rider/In memory of".

I don't see the harm in posting about an accident. Person could be badly injured or dead.
Nor do I recall any sticky post saying "Only post if someone is dead."
So to make this post relevant.
GWS rider.
We are the cops boss?
This seems quite funny, please let me know how that goes the next time a cop pulls you over and you tell them that.
Text us back about the extended ticket you got:)
Badge number is not something you just post to the internet. How about to prove your a human, you post your health card number or drivers license or s.i.n?
Oh wait, that's because it's personal information that you should not be sharing with the whole internet.

I echo responses here. Take a basic course. You learn core skills and learn good habits. Then go out and practice after. I took the RTI course and loved it. 2 weeks if riding later and I'm comfortable shifting, braking and being in traffic. No stalling.
