I actually do enjoy tinkering with bikes. I've been brave enough to venture inside my old bikes. I'm just concerned with something this old. It looks a heck of a lot more complicated than my GS/CBR. Maybe it won't be so bad once I get into her. I just thought I'd ask for some assurance incase I...
Hahah Prob not then. It was around the same time though! I don't remember seeing any red on the Busa. U would've known it was you, the busa stuck behind me for quite a bit.
You: Dark Hayabusa
Me: Blue/White GSXR 750 w/ passenger
Running west on Eglinton from Kennedy onwards. You were trailing me.
I see you every morning I take my gf to work. Usually were stuck in a cage when it's chilly. But with mornings like this, we'll be 2uping more often. Gosh I miss the HOV...
Agreed! You get quite lucky on the smaller locations. The Honda Powerhouse Demo Ride by Hurontario/Dundas(loc?) was the best one yet! Even though there were quite a bit of people, 20ish or so, I was able to ride 7 of the 10 bikes in a matter of 4hours! This was also due to efficient organizing...
Not sure if I posted already but here's my baby =D
1990 GSXR 750 L
She runs like a beast!
Anyone know anyone good with old school oilers? I'd def like to open it up but I don't want to risk screwing it up since it's difficult enough to get parts.
If I recall, there really isn't a reliable flat surface on the rear of the gsxr to stick it to.
Did you atleast spit on the surface first? That hugely increases it's suction!
BAhah! ZOMG! I just made one exactly like that last year with my EXO1000 lolz!
I used double sided adhesive velcro so I can take it off whenever I want.
How'd you get it to stay and what'd you use for the eyes?
lemme guess...808Yewtube?
When faced with the similar situation, I flip on my high beams, swerve in my lane n drop my speed long before to make myself as visible as possible. So far it has worked, grabing the attention of any driver facing me or are about to turn into my lane.
I just got a "parking in a Fire Route" ticket for parking by the bicycles by the exit next to Shoppers at Fairview. I read that paying it will not affect your insurance. Is that true? Would there be any demerit points like "parking in a handicap spot"?
Oh no, sold mine to someone else. Exact same bike though so I felt comfortable helping the dude out with whatever I can. I'm still unsure about the "buzzing/vibrations" he's feeling. I test rode it for him and felt just the same as mine...atleast it's nothing that jumped out at me.
I was the one who changed the oil. I think it may be due to not topping it up after the oil +filter change. I filled it up to "F" and left it as is after starting the bike. I'm sure a good portion of that oil goes into the filter mechanism. It's something like 1/2 a L that would run through it...
