    Question about winter riding

I rode when there was no snow on the road all last winter. The gloves are a major thing I found that i needed to improve, then helmet, then pants. My current winter gloves are Joe Rocket Nitrogen, water "proof" and warm, with a little bit of a gauntlet also. I went to the Bike show in February...

This is why I'm not into "track days"

That crash reminds me a little of Marco Simoncelli's in 2011. That being said, Rossi and Edwards would probably also be dead if it was on the street. Scary crap happens everywhere, and having a max of a 1 second-ish gap will increase said crap on both. They all walked away, and apparently raced...

Maybe he's writing from the past, in North Africa.. In all seriousness though, is all your time spent at work? Are your extracurriculars in a male dominant atmosphere?

Motorcycle specific backpack... Anyone have a recommendation?

I have the Ogio No-drag Mach 1 and have been commuting/riding wjth it for about a year. I've like it, and if it wears out I'll be getting another. It is a little on the smaller side though. I have my rain gear in there and it takes up most of the major pocket; that being said, my rain stuff is...

    Waterproof glove suggestions?

Alpinestars has their 365 goretex as well. Apparently the fit is similar to the GP-Pro and has slightly less protection, it has padding on part of the palm compared to TPU sliders. http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/Detail.bok?no=9603

    I need some gloves

That's a kind of general question. Are you going on the highway in the gloves? If so, do you want heating or do you have heated grips? Do you want use of all your fingers separately (lobster gloves, or mittens)...

    Looking for info/reviews of Furygan

Like the title says, I'm looking for info and reviews of Furygan. I was in Oakville Yamaha last Saturday, March 9, and saw a number of nice looking gloves, jackets, pants etc. I tried on the AFS-10 glove and it seemed pretty good, but I don't know anything about the company. Thanks :)

Riding a bike for the first time this Saturday.. advice?

This may be the best thing to do. It's not impossible to learn everything in an afternoon, but it's a Very big change from a 5/6 speed car transmission. Take alot of time practicing starting and stopping. If you haven't started a bike before to ride, use "F.I.N.E.C.C." 1)Fuel's turned ON (not...
