Not an oil thread! Just a legit oil question

If the weight,ie both are 10w40, and the "make"('natural', semi-syn, syn) I would personally do it, why waste?

How many of you take your bike to redline?

What RPM is redline? I have 9000 rpm between 5k and my redline. My "powerband" apparently doesn't start until around 8k. What is your style of riding? Are you going to be trying to reach top speed every time you ride? The tunnel under the Welland Canal is awesome for this, its really hard not...

    Cruiser vs sportbike... fight!

For most modern SS's, it's factory integrated with your clip-ons. Why do you think they're so expensive?

    Petro Canada Gas Rip Off!!

Its weird because of his youtube comments/responses. He said that he payed for his $3 and left, meaning he already possibly pumped 2 liters, depending on the grade. People don't usually pay for nothing. I realize that it is probably an error with the pump, and probably that specific franchise...

    Petro Canada Gas Rip Off!!

He doesn't actually show his hand and the lever. It is possible to gently hold the lever to get the pump to climb minutely, I have topped my tank a few times like this. He also seems to be holding it at an angle that would cause the gas to collect in the nozzle. Also, why is he only getting 2...

    Call to legalize lane splitting/filtering

All The Gear All The Time. I remember reading something on another forum about how riders would have to be pretty much in full leathers/CE rated gear all the time.

    Call to legalize lane splitting/filtering

Isn't the graduated licensing a factor in that as well? I know it has something to do with the power of the bike, but i thought it also had to do with the way one drove also. Is there some law also regarding ATGATT?

    2011-2013 suzuki gsxr600 owners

If you're seriously that concerned, take it to a professional. You have 6 guys here who have said its normal and you still don't believe them. Not trying to be a dick, but if you're uncomfortable taking previous owners experiences, the only thing to do is take it in...

Looking for Long Term Jacket Reviews

Thank you very much for the offer, but the yellow is a little too over the top for me. Not to mention, it totally clashes with my bike :p.

Looking for Long Term Jacket Reviews

That size is too big for me, I'm a Medium at most :p. I have spent the last 45 minutes going through Kijiji and found about 6 that will fit me. Surprisingly a lot of grey/silver.

Why America can't afford public health care

This reminds me of Epic Meal Time, except surprisingly more stupid. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9FRSghXhDM I think this is one of his dumbest challenges. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JJrX9-bax4

Looking for Long Term Jacket Reviews

I'm disappointed that the new ones don't have the "blades", it looks more aggressive. How has the wrist velcro held up? I have a tecknic jacket i wore year round before the Held and the start of riding season 2 the velcro was worn out.

    Big knuckled guys...gloves?

Have you tried Held or Furygan? I have small hands but longer fingers and I tried everything on your list but Dainese. I ended up getting the Held Chikara from Oakville Yamaha and they fit wonderfully. The Furygan AFS-18 fit similarly, but the Held's I liked just a bit better. Furygan Site...

Looking for Long Term Jacket Reviews

I'm looking to replace my Held Tropic jacket. I've had it just under a year and it is somewhat falling apart. I love the fit and cut of the jacket, but the quality is lacking. It doesn't seem to be designed for anything more than irregular weekend trips. Preferably looking for Joe Rocket...

    Foggy Helmet

I have the Fog City insert. Wore it all winter up until now. -25 I think is the coldest I've had it, and there was only minor fogging....until i started to breathe heavy and opened my visor, and then it froze over..but other than that, it has worked very well. http://www.fogcitysolutions.com/

Looking for pant suggestions in the $200-$300 range...

Yes they carry AE12s. I believe they had them as far back as September, but to be honest, I can't remember when I looked. My only complaint with the Alter Ego 12s is that the rain line is not a full length liner. It ends maybe 4-6 inches from the cuff and maybe 1-3 inches from the "belt"...

    Paintball

SOF field is out in Hamilton, they have a retail location on the west side of Burlington. I've been to a few of their big games, where they end using all their divided fields into one big scenario. They have a few CQB style mini-fileds. Been a long time since I've been there, but was loads of...

    Bike Accidents

2 crashes with 2 different bikes. 1. 3rd time riding, 1st time in the rain. Went to stop at a stop sign, pulled in the clutch and front brake hard and my tail went out from under me. I slid a few feet and got a rash on my elbow, and broke off my rear turn signal. 2. I was at a 4 way stop...

    Next Generation Y2K Turbine Bike

That's Jay Leno. Starting at 33seconds, you can see him in the crowd to the left of the bike, and then his chin beneath the helmet :p. It has a Rolls Royce helicopter engine if my memory serves me correctly. Edit: Read the article. Here's another link with more about him & it...
