There's a huge lot at Woodbine park (Coxwell and Eastern). That's one of the places Learning Curves has paint on the asphalt so you can practice your low speed skills too. The sound academy at the docks also has a setup, but you'd have to go there off hours because it's paid parking for a lot of...
I'm insured as of next Friday; need to get a safety done a register first mind you. Hoping for a couple high single digit days to at least go for a small ride. Little snow let here in the city and the salt is slowly fading.
I thought about leaving off collision and comprehensive, but for $9/mo it's no big deal. Especially if for some absurd reason somebody wants to drag a 250 into their van, or my bike becomes an absolute write off.
Re: 23 Years Old, GM2, Clean/No Record, GSXR-600 - What are my options for Insurance?
It'll make a small difference, as Toronto is the 3rd highest for insurance in Ontario and London is not. Your problem, as you know, is you're under 25, have little experience and a 600cc bike. Even if you...
That may be, just make sure the deductibles are the same.
Also, I signed my State Farm paperwork today and had to do it in office; no email/mail/fax. Not sure if that's company wide policy, but something to keep in mind if your agent is a long way away.
25/M2 Nov '14/'11 CBR250r. Clean...
I've called about 5 different SF brokers including a few found on here and my local ones. Originally I thought their numbers were slightly different, but actually only their definition of 'full coverage' (without stating deductibles) and whether or not they rounded the .99 cents differed. Turns...
You state at the rear... So if you drop it at the rear should you not drop it at the front as well? I ask because I bought a 250 last year that has been lowered an inch (i think) at the rear, and a little in the front because the forks stick up a little through the handlebars. The guy that did...
Call SF and get a quote today. Ask them to quote as if you've had your Gx for 5 years because you're getting it soon.
You're going to want to know before you buy that bike, because it's going to be hella expensive.
You'll still have options, but the cancellation does not look good on your record. You're already paying a premium because you're young and now you'll be paying an additional one.
Try SF and echelon. Make some phone calls, nobody here will be able to give you a quote.
I feel better then. I'm trying to squeeze every buck I can by not starting my policy until it's actually warm enough to ride. It'll be the last time I can do it haha.
Huh. By some magical act of Xenu maybe it'll be for the better?
But seriously, did he give any more info? I've been holding off a little to insure my first bike for the spring... But SF has the best quote for me so far.
Hedo2002 is right; while a bundle may be convenient, if the price isn't right it's probably not worth it. Best case scenario your dealings with insurance will be once a year for renewal.
I've gotten plenty of quotes for the upcoming season and haven't found a single company with a bundle...
I know by now you guys have figured this is a scam. Just wanted to pipe up and stay that when I was looking for a 250 I remember this guy. I remember the photo, he's obviously recycling it over and over again. It was on kijiji and auto trader.
I'm a new rider, also with a 250, but I'm over 25. State Farm has given me the best quote so far (by a long shot) and I've tried pretty well everyone.
I hope you can find something better, but a $500 savings is still a big deal.
