    Great rate at TD MM

That'll do it. I remember my insurance skyrocketing moving from Orangeville to Toronto, then more so moving downtown Toronto. In other news, my CBR250 quote is up almost $200 from last year to $1143 with TDMM. State Farm is still cheaper but not much.

    State Farm Policy Update 2016

No, it is robbery. Insurance in Ontario is robbery. But let's face it, 22hp is a pretty low risk bike. Just making a point that they're going after the whole community, not just SS riders. While I can swallow the extra few bucks, it doesn't make it anymore fair - especially when I'm riding...

    State Farm Policy Update 2016

Got my March renewal today. Been with Statefarm for a year now on my CBR250. It went up $12/month with no changes to my policy or personal record. Robbery.

    N64 help

Honestly, a used system on kijiji can be had for about $50. I got one with two controllers for $50 not long ago. Might be cheaper to find a system only unit on eBay or kijiji if you think the cables didn't suffer from the fall (video cables are cheap; power adapter not as much).

Parking Options Near "The Jam Factory" In Toronto

Just by looking at streetview there seems to be quite a bit of street parking around there..

I gave the wrong postal code

Yes, you should change it. It's likely not going to affect your rate; might as well have your address correct.

    Have iPhone follow custom route?

According to the newest Google Maps update for iOS (sept 1st), you can 'view custom maps created using Google My Maps'. I haven't personally tried it yet, but maybe that would work? EDIT: Now I've tried it - you can VIEW them. It won't give you nav to follow them.

    Really bad Motoretta experience

The markup on their Honda parts is atrocious. But mostly it's barely even a motorcycle/scooter store... it's a ****** lifestyle clothing shop.

    Upshifting from 1 -> 2 gets stuck at neutral (CBR250RA 2012)

CBR250R here. I still occasionally grab neutral... Shifting harder to consciously really bury the shifter up there has helped.

    Gas?

I kinda figured this much. I'm going to try a couple tanks of premium to see if I get any better power/mileage/noises - if nothing significant I may go back to the cheap stuff.

    Gas?

Thanks man. Like I said, Ted at Rosey Toes told me not to worry about it... I guess I'm just sensitive to sound and didn't hear it for the first couple thousand km's.

    Gas?

Sounds to me like valve clearance adjustment is needed. Not sure sure if it's normal or not... Need to find another bike like mine. I'm not overly concerned yet.

Video of biker allegedly running away from accident on QEW

I sold an exhaust to some dummy kid last fall that just turned 18. (I found out his age because I met him at a bank and he complained about new fees because he no longer has a youth bank account). Anyway, I asked him how he could afford to insure the R6 he was riding. Simple - fire and theft...

Four motorcyclists charged for doing 192km/hr on the 404

These a5sh0les are the reason for us getting gouged on insurance. Take it to the track boys. Look - I ride a 250 and don't condone this in the first place, but at least don't be so f00king stupid and do it on a major highway.

    Gas?

Manual for my CBR250 says 87 is fine. Was at Rosey Toes today because my bike has a small tick - Ted said to run Shell 91 (no ethanol) and the tick will go away. I'll have to see if it does on my next tank. Spend the the extra couple bucks a fill up for the ethanol free stuff.

Canadas Motorcycle . Thumbs up again

Grabbed a Sena 3s from these guys a few weeks back. Their out of stock notification system seemed a little busted at the time, but the shipping was quick and solid service and price otherwise. Will order from them again.

Props To That Tall Rough-Looking Young Guy At Rosey Ted's

Dropped by Rosey Toes for the first time today - my bike (relatively low km) has a small tick to it. Ted took it around the block, tightned and oiled a few things and told me to stop using cheap gas - use Shell 91. No charge. He's got my business, really appreciate his honesty.

    Need advice !

Honestly, that rate seems fairly good considering you have no riding or driving experience. With you being 16, the only way to save more is by buying an older/cheaper/smaller bike.

    Insurance Question

Unfortunately most insurance savings come from age and record. Problem is - if you aren't insured on a motorcycle, you're not getting any experience on your bike record. While your car driving record does play a factor with some companies, it's not as effective as being constantly insured on a...

Petition - Allow single-rider motorcycles in Ontario's HOV lanes

I hear you. It's like cyclists where a small percentage of them are *****, but they all get stereotyped. I'm a rule abiding motorcyclist because I'm trying to be safe. I'd much rather be safe in the HOV lane than try into dodge texters - I just feel like there's no incentive for the province and...
