Any companies insure 20 year old on a 750 cruiser?

Your posts here just prove how retarded insurance in Ontario is, sport bike riders = high risk, cruiser riders = low risk, generally. But yet I'm here being offered $4500/year on an entry level 750 compared to my 300cc sport bike at $2000/year, which bike is more of a risk...especially when your...

Any companies insure 20 year old on a 750 cruiser?

Yes Im calling lol, the reasons why is its so high is because of my age and experience, that simple. There is no market really out there for young riders on anything 650cc unless they want to pay out their ***.

Any companies insure 20 year old on a 750 cruiser?

These are all done over the phone, Andy forwarded me to another dalton timmis broker who actually gave me that quote of 4500. A few companies like intact will insure me only up to 500cc. And sure Pm me a SF rep if you can, although I heard they are rough on new riders now. I'll try anything at...

Any companies insure 20 year old on a 750 cruiser?

Update - finally stopped procrastinating. Best price I got is 4500 a year with TD Ecchon, no other companies would accept me or would charge higher. Still way too much for a 750. Also got quoted at 2000 for a V star 650 but I might wait it out for the 750. Although I also got a quote for 5000 on...

Any companies insure 20 year old on a 750 cruiser?

These companies wont insure me because 750cc is too high for someone with my age and experience, they wont give me rates. Intact for example I was told 500cc is the max they will insure me at but Aviva will do 650cc regardless of the class of bike. Ill give Andy a call, although I think Dalton...

Any companies insure 20 year old on a 750 cruiser?

No companies will insure me, I have a clean record. Very stupid policies, I can get insured on 650cc that I know of with Aviva, 500cc is usually the limit with most companies. They are willing to insure me on a 600cc sportbike but not a 750cc cruiser

    Yamaha R6 - M2 License

I agree with you, just looking from an outside perspective. 1750 is unreasonable for most, that's why most people don't ride, most people can't afford it. It may seem reasonable in a province that pays one of the highest insurance rates in NA.

    Yamaha R6 - M2 License

Insurance companies set their rates competitively not on wish to make. They abuse the system and force you to pay whatever they want because you have to.

    Yamaha R6 - M2 License

I know a 49 year old, new rider who got quoted at cheapest $1750 on a shadow 750 and he's not going to ride for the next few years at least. It's easy for us to sit here and say what's reasonable and what's not, because we can afford it, but for most it's too expensive and they can put the money...

    Yamaha R6 - M2 License

I ask myself this all the time. I know 10 people on the top of my head who want to get into motorcycling but don't because of the ridiculous insurance rates. They have the itch for a year or two and never pull the trigger and never turn back. Lost money for insurance companies. Makes me wonder...

50 shot dead - Orlando shooting

/facepalm Im arguing this if guns were hypothetically banned in America. I'm saying regardless if guns are banned, these people will go to any means to carry out what they want to do wether they create bombs or just buy the gun illegally. Don't believe it do research on attacks in countries...

50 shot dead - Orlando shooting

Relax sweetheart don't act like you've never misspelt before. I'm trying to say people can use other means instead of guns like pipe bombs and pressure cooker bombs if there are no guns available and it's even less conspicuous. The problem is in people's heads not with the objects they use. If...

50 shot dead - Orlando shooting

This gun arguement is stupid, if all guns were illegal in the states which never happen anyways, these ****ed up people will just buy it illegally or use other means. Should we ban cleaning supplies and chemicals from Home Depot? Because you can walk in there and come out with ingredients for a...

50 shot dead - Orlando shooting

He used a ar-15 type variant rifle and a pistol. So much damage from one man, imagine a team of 4 guys doing this and the destruction that could happen, just a matter of time as sad as it is
