    2004 Yamaha fz6 - throttle issue

If you can get an angle with your phone, take a video of throttle body end of cables as you cycle the throttle. You can make a youtube account to post the video. I suspect that is the problem area.

    How`s your house pricing doing?..

Really solid chance that foreign buyers ban doesn't renew. It expires Jan 1/27.

This one gets an A for effort but they took a real kick in the nuts. Three years in a nice house outside of Barrie cost them north of $750K. Ouch.

    Let's Laugh at my Expense!

My wifes stupid car gives range in single km (eg 382 left, 381 left) until it gets to 50km left and then sticks with <50. Obviously the manufacturer has almost zero confidence in their prediction. Single digit predictions when more gas is left are just embarrassing. Stick with 5 or 10 km...

    How`s your house pricing doing?..

I'm seeing a ton of houses sell very close to three years after purchase. I'm thinking they took three year fixed and the renewals are ugly. Some are selling for roughly purchase price (so a big loss once LTT and RE fees are considered) and some are selling for six figures less.

I like Mike's approach and it doesn't require starting the bike.

Ha ha! This is why the general public hate on Motorcycle riders when they act like his...

I saw that he fled. Stopping fleeing at that point is your second worst option (dying in a crash would be worse). He's not blipping the throttle like an ahole, just seems to have constant revs well above what I would expect at idle.

Lots of strange there. I was expecting an impaired charge in the list. Not sure why the bike was revving so high while he was sitting there. Not sure why he was just sitting there.

    How`s your house pricing doing?..

It sounds like FRO operates similar to a mortgage but easy to spin up from within a HELOC. Borrow money from HELOC to do renovations, convert to FRO to save on interest. Rinse and repeat if you want. Mortgage has the ugly upside to being one and done so you may end up with extra capital...

Registering out of province bike with no ownership

I think that applies to cages and not motorcycles. My understanding is there is no structural inspection form for motorcycles so they can't come back after a brand. https://www.ontario.ca/page/mandatory-vehicle-branding-program#section-7 "Motorcycle branding In Ontario, the only brands that can...

    How`s your house pricing doing?..

RIght now, HELOC balance is zero. I am just setting things up as when markets inevitably fall, I borrow to dump money into markets. The last time I did it, some money went into TFSA, some went into non-reg. All dividends went to loan payments. As more TFSA room became available, I'd move...

    How`s your house pricing doing?..

So far they've left my mom's alone. When my dad died, family income dropped by ~40%. I told her to expect it to be cut so she isn't caught off-guard. Thankfully, she just has it for quick liquidity, so even if it was cut 75%, it would fulfill her needs. In your case, that was especially...

Registering out of province bike with no ownership

That's the end run. Revin it. If it is a collector bike, that could beat up the value.

Klr guy has it. It is a lost cause for a road vehicle in Ontario. There is no legal path. AB or QC it could probably get on the road again.

    How`s your house pricing doing?..

Mine rolled back last year. A trivial amount, about 1%. Total HELOC+mortgage is ~50% of FMV. Doesn't really matter to me, I don't plan on maxing HELOC.

    2004 Yamaha fz6 - throttle issue

Rev limiter while in gear should not be an air leak. While a leak can increase revs in neutral, most leaks are small and dont unleash substantial hp. I would be focusing on the throttle cables. Your second paragraph where throttle tube was springing back and bike went to redline is strange. I'd...

What's their plan? I am assuming climbing and chunk it down as that seems cheap for a crane job. Removal of all wood included? Stump removal?

It's sand, try to use an old snowblower.

    Where to get a puppy?

When I got Simparica Green from Oz, it was $131/6 months, no prescription required. Vet was $50/mo for the pill or $50 to write the prescription. It's good to know costco is solidly cheaper than the vet.
