So it's that time again....winter pasttimes?

I've considered grabbing a piece of that rail and making an anvil. Cost of disks needed probably exceeds cost of buying a decent anvil. It's a hobby where you lose money but gain enjoyment.

Do you have the rail? I know where there's a length along a trail. No rail lines were ever in the area. I suspect a farmer left it there and then a forest grew around.

    Sober October

I'm pretty certain I've never ridden a motorcycle with even a single drink on board. I like to be alive and do what I can to push the odds in my favor. Bicycle on the other hand :/ I have ridden when I could barely walk decades ago.

    How`s your house pricing doing?..

Your location is great (especially the combination of lot size, location and relative affordability). For an "affordable" (as much as a house in toronto can be affordable) family home with a Toronto address (not in scarborough), it's a good place to look. I won't be surprised if it slowly...

    Let's Laugh at my Expense!

Fuel Injection makes the reserve switch more complicated. You don't want to be putting a bunch of air into the pressurized fuel lines if you have a choice. Are there any carbed street bikes left?

    How`s your house pricing doing?..

My guess is they allow foreign buyers to buy new builds so the government can seal clap for dwellings built. Of course, there will be no requirement for the houses to be occupied.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

The weight is incredible. Something that is strong enough, ventilated and fully supports the pool would be a huge pain. Like camping, drying everything out after is an annoying but necessary part of the experience.

Hopefully it's not a complete scam. There are a lot of red flags in that mess. Individual investors buying individual dwellings through one guy and managed by the same guy. They don't even know who the tenants are or where money is flowing.

Doesn't 1x4 work better? That would you allow them to be up in the joist bays instead of below the joists. Every inch matters down there.

    How`s your house pricing doing?..

If it wasn't your primary residence, there is the possibility for capital gains and losses.

    How`s your house pricing doing?..

    A) you can't write off a capital loss against income, only against capital gains B) as there is no capital gain on your primary residence, there is no corresponding capital loss provision. It is after-tax money that has forever disappeared. Ouch.

    Don’t bother with FOTC today…

They're just trying to keep it interesting as the speed limit continues to ratchet down. Soon, it will be walking speed through there.

My wife is buying some every month. Overall she's down a little. It's down about 15% from her first buy last November. DCA means overall she is down much less.

    Where to get a puppy?

Normally between the kids in the back seat. If it's a long drive, clipped into seat belt buckle. He doesn't try to move around much, that's more to help if there was a crash. Occasionally, I'll.put him in the back as it gives everyone more room. He lays down and goes to sleep. In a hard corner...

Board on the right will be 4' minus a saw kerf. Making it 4'2" would drive up material costs substantially.

Are both directions the same dimension? As the brackets should be taking at most ~100 lbs (wind load on panel but uprights provide some support), I'd predrill and then fire screws through those holes at a steep angle to catch as much wood as possible. If you wanted to get fancy, put dowels...

Since the last model year to Canada was 2012 and msrp was $2300, he is on good drugs.
