The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Insurers have power, precident and lawyers. They tell the tow company to F off, they are getting paid X or they will feel the weight of a huge company leaning on a tiny one. It's easier for everyone if tow company accepts.

If there is a crash, tow truck shows up. You may not be in a position to tell them to f off. Once your bike is on the hook, bill can be thousands in hours. The old trick of signing the ownership to settle the bill is over, they will send your bill to collections in a heartbeat. Storage clock is...

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

I have so much mobile data now that watching Netflix while waiting would not be an issue.

The issue with no collision is the tow truck mafia can extort you.

    Is this accurate?

A does not equal B. Cities have been lowering speed limits for many years and installation of photo radar almost guaranteed that location would get a lower speed limit to increase revenue.

It sounds like it would be easier on your mind to just buy it. Bring the seller some baked products. That makes the seller happy and helps with your weight. I don't see any downside really.

We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

The last gun my dad bought for himself was a franchi 20 ga o/u. I don't know if he ever shot it but it made him happy. He always wanted an o/u and couldn't afford it when he was younger. I may get my pal mostly to have possession of that one.

I suspect that the guns hold their value much much better than golf clubs. A set of custom clubs has to be one of the fastest depreciating things you can buy.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

I am thinking that most people take the warm, clear windshield, cheap to drive car instead of the one that is an ice cube, will take minutes standing outside to clear and will take more minutes to get warm (and may be low so you get to spend minutes outside at a gas station). If the cost of that...

    its here....

Are there laws banning cold-gas rockets? I think the restriction will need to be at the CMVSS stage where Canada doesn't allow them into the country. Leaving it up to lower government to regulate fan and/or rocket cars seems like it would be a disaster.

Here's Jason analyzing the stunts. While he is normally on the ball, I am not entirely convinced about his gas thrust analysis as he assumed constant pressure which would require liquid nitrogen. Compressed air would have far less than half of the average thrust he calculated. What I saw said...

We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

40 minutes of gun creation porn at Westley Richards. The guns can be six figures but you can see why. Months of craftsman fitting, weeks of a craftsman finishing, months of a craftsman engraving. There is a loud annoying embedded ad at ~11:00.

That assumes both that none messed up and attached information that could be tied to them and that CS doesn't have recordings.

Douggie could easily change legislation to take years off the process (PSA charges should be able to be adjudicated before trial as the bar is much much much lower). He chooses not to.

Like wikileaks, it would be amazing if much of the data was publicly dumped. Any cops found to play that game get to explain to the board how they got the information and why they decided to go around their employer.

The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

Bastard. Hard to read the logo or I'd be making a call to their office. My camera intentionally doesn't have speed on it. I don't need to make it easy for cops/insurance to find me partially at fault if I was over the speed limit even though it may have had nothing to do with the cause of the...

Serpa is still around in Aurora. I've never been there. Rebranding Suzuki of Newmarket to Serpa to hide the stink of the past did not give me a good feeling.

The situation is so bad that even the call-takers are unable to take tips right down. Complete collapse of security affecting all input methods. It could be enough to end Crime Stoppers if someone that called in a tip on a bad person gets ended by this.
