    Canada Post - Huge losses

Registered mail is still way underpriced , and not very secure either . But it would end up at your door . Let’s be honest here , everyone wants everything to stay like it’s been . But it’s not sustainable, we have proven that . Municipalities with hundreds of summer students watering and...

    COVID and the housing market

Friends put thier townhouse up last week here in Bronte with a two point five million “ask” to test the market . Eleven hundred sq ft but it does look at the lake . Sold in three days . For two and a half million. The right properties are still selling . Sent from my iPhone using...

    Canada Post - Huge losses

Around our area , I’ve started taking note while I walk the dog . Superboxes are in pathway shortcuts between streets , on corners by Parkeets, on side lots away from front entrances . They seem thoughtfully placed . My mom who does not use a computer or do online banking is a bit perturbed by...

    COVID and the housing market

That Toronto Star article is hilarious, in an interview one resident says , the province just lets us run the place under , they don’t watch what we do . Really bud? Like it’s some sort of babysitting service ? And it’s been going downhill for a decade , so now we form a concerned citizens group...

    Canada Post - Huge losses

Why do I ship dozens of samples and small packages every week with anybody except Canada Post ? Because I don’t wake up and find the other guys on strike . It’s important to MY business that stuff moves efficiently. I’m not risking a couple hundred bucks in samples , tied to thousands of dollars...

    Canada Post - Huge losses

Many Canada post workers know they have had a nice gig for a long time , and I don’t hold any of the workers responsible for this mess . The “bosses” ran this thing off a cliff , I’d be sour about potentially loosing my job in a restructuring, but every empire crumbles. Sent from my iPhone...

    COVID and the housing market

Our area still has “I hope it happens” pricing . Trying to get what they paid out of the house , reality will be a couple hundred less in most cases . Unless it’s a lake house , then ask whatever you want . Sent from my iPhone using GTAMotorcycle.com

    Canada Post - Huge losses

Nine years is not a bad window , you have to remember the last time they randomly showed up in neighborhoods and started excavations and pouring concrete with no local consultation or permits . Towns slammed the lid on that. CPC said “ we are a fed regulated company” to which the municipality...

We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

One of the real problems , “charges” never come off your file . If you’re not convicted, then that doesn’t show up but your charges still show. For many no big deal but like travel? Lots of countries do not like drug , DUI or firearms charges on your file , regardless of the outcome of the...

I’m out in Canmore AB house shopping, it’s from four hundred k to four million. Not committed to here but Banff and Jasper are non starters . We have a couple days left to look outside town but winters suck in a rural setting. Sent from my iPhone using GTAMotorcycle.com

The "Official" Watch Thread and all Things Horological

Just bought my wife an Apple Watch , I hate it but it’s not for me . It’s not a watch , it’s a surveillance tool reporting to the evil empire. It tracks her steps and some dude in Montecito Cali knows she went to a mall . Sent from my iPhone using GTAMotorcycle.com

IMO , if you’re shooting sporting clays , the semi auto is nice and works fine . If your going skeet or trap , probably what you’ll see are over/unders in ninety percent of shooters hands . You’ll get a bazillion opinions , but don’t buy a Steven’s or a Yildez or Canuk. I’d buy a beretta six...
