Imho they dont have the grunt like the older triples and sound less appealing as well. But I am considering trying out a newer Polaris for the comfort and long track and lighter. But still smile when my 95 v4 800 and 2001 srx 700 embarrass some of the newer iron on the lake.

Good on your for your burn barrel, if you ever build another this is a great design and weather poof always dry inside, cut out bottom and put in steel mesh and 2 exhaust holes at top of barrel and a door....patio stone keeps water from pooling on top of barrel and weights it down will last...
