    Dynamite Ally

Just found it: Here is the map https://www.ridethehighlands.ca/en/maps/route/0 Pretty sure I've done all those roads, maybe not in the loops they indicate.

    Cycle Mafia scores a win!

I've never felt giving more money to our gov (any level) is the answer to anything. Hey I wish my property taxes where the same as when I bought my house, they arn't, plus all of the new development over the years has to be filling the city's purse somehow.

Maybe HD sells more branding merchandise then motorcycles. I mean they slap that logo on everything, more so then Spaceballs the movie.

So half the congestion is just because of bad drivers?? Really, has nothing to do with volume, or badly implemented infrastructure. C'mon you can't be serious. The shift in policy at this point is going to have to be massive. Toronto is basically a city without a plan (we have a thread on...

I'm not sure it's that much, but could be for cars, vehicles. I did a crossing for a hike and it was like $10, but we just walked on. Yeah the community doesn't want too much traffic over there, as the island isn't that big, and I get it to a point they want to preserve the space and not have it...

    Cycle Mafia scores a win!

They are in their 50's. And kept their drivers license for those kinda days. But they are pretty adamant about biking. Another anecdote. Knew another guy who would bike it in all kinds of weather, well before all this bike stuff became a priority and winters were longer. All across the hood as...

    Cycle Mafia scores a win!

Also disagree, I have friends who live close to downtown, and they have gave up owning cars, and instead bike to most of the places they need to go (which happens to be downtown). Still have a licence to drive, and rent when needed, but it's not that often. I live in the DaHood, I wouldn't even...

    Canada Post - Huge losses

LC's are assigned or get to pick routes based on seniority. Once they have a route they stay on it until they choose to pick another one. I doubt dynamic routing will happen. There isn't enough sophistication on CP to handle this. They could completely separate lettermail from packages.

Recent movies you saw - recommend or no

Did a re-watch of the classic Superman movie: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078346/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_4_tt_7_nm_0_in_0_q_superman They really had a different way of telling stories back then. It's still is great, some stuff looks dated, 3rd act is a bit rough, but excellent performances, scenes...

    TV shows currently watching

Untamed was good, but used the to wrap up the ending. Felt too convenient. Ballard was great - same level as Bosch. Clearly they have a second season in mind with how it ended. Maggie is quite captivating.

What's funny about that, is she was voted in for the suburbs, by the people in the burbs. (they didn't see it coming this time) As always we get the shaft on city policies and transit. The way the city implemented the bike lanes is just stupid. It's probably why Doug feels the need to step in...
