It seems to pull well into the red. By burying the needle deep in the red zone - about 8,500 RPMs ( redline starts at 8,000 goes to about 8,800 with nothing printed on the tach beyond that ) I was able pass through the trap still in third.
Pretty sure my best times didn't require 4th gear.
I'm...
Yesterday was a Great day. Weather was perfect. After telling friends and family it would cost $20 to watch it turned out all spectators were free.
Got in 8 or 9 runs with a best time of 12.74 @ 107.7MPH
When I first wrapped my KZ650 (the GayZed) in that fabric my daughter liked it so much...
Why?
I always hit the box and light it up. Mostly because it's fun and I don't know any better.
Tomorrow is the last Test & Tune at St Thomas this year so I've invited some friends and family to come out and watch. The weather looks decent. Effed up last Friday night and took the Wing down...
Hoping to hook up a light on the DragWing (attach a flashlight or ??) in order to run into the dark tonight. Tonight is the last Test and Tune Friday night at St Thomas Dragway and I hope to get out.
About 3 weeks ago they shut me down about 8:45 (they run til 10) because I had no light - that...
I disected a 12 gage shot gun shell. After watching the gun powder burn I wondered how loud the primer would be without any gunpowder so I locked the end in the vise and hit it with the auto punch. WOW! Started to wonder if the cops would soon arrive.
I don't think so. You force fluid into the bleeder and it forces the air up and out the M/C / resevoir or at least I think that's how it works, regardless it's been working well for me.
Have we tried forcing fluid in through the bleed valve using a big hypo needle? (you may need to secure the hypo line to the valve with a small gear clamp)
It's my new favorite method.
Sorry if you couldn't find me. There was a full weekend of drag racing so we were pushed to the far end. Ended up with our own little trackside compound.
This is a good time. Old bikes, old cars, some racing, you can even play monkey and hang off a sidecar (Trust me it's a huge rush!)
If you spot Seemore or my old Honda stop by and say hello.
