And somehow every year becomes even more true. For the midnight ride with the kid, it was fast and clean. Only one scary dude ranting and chasing a bunch of teenagers that just wanted to get away. No nodders.

    Knowing Better

If it's charged and in the garage which should be reasonably stable temperature, I would leave it in the garage. I don't like huge lithium batteries inside my house.

Game ended at 12:20 iirc. It could easily take you 15 minutes to get out of stadium with the crowds. Walk to union is 10-15 minutes. When you get there, ACC and skydome both dumped at the same time so there are 100K people trying to get on ~10 minutes of trains. It's possible to make it but it's...

Even better than an oversight, city of Toronto tweeted "transit won't wait!" When the game went into extra innings. This was a planned train wreck. Heads need to roll...

22.5M now and climbing fast. I dislike the pricing structure. A ticket goes from $2 to $0.33 depending on how many you buy.

They give you a barf bag. Go to waterloo warbirds website. Iirc, the Harvard is acro rated and much cheaper to get a ride in. Differently cool than the jets. At times they have had migs in the fleet.

An acquaintance piloted the vampire. The gopro on the wing leaned back to look at the sky as you pass 400 knots. Good times. While it is an expensive 30 minutes, it is barely cost recovery and a cool experience. Not many opportunities to be in a true jet anymore, everything is a a prop or turbofan.

Over what period? Did you get that many in this year? Are you planning on ejecting from the Viper for a new thrill?

Do it. The pilots are happy you are paying for the fuel instead of them. They love taking people up.

Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

Another steaming pile from the Supreme Court. A decade of liberal appointees have swayed the balance all the way to insane territory. The case in question had hundreds of images of children under six being raped and sodomized and SC found minimum sentences unconstitutional. Like politicians...

    Science news of the day

I considered going light on my last roof replacement to reduce thermal absorption. Going a little lighter would have made almost no difference. To make a difference, the roof would have been close to white. It would have worked to reduce thermal absorption but damn would it have been ugly (roof...

Why Is Motorcycle Oil So Expensive?

Normally Mobil 1 and I've never had an issue with a wet clutch when using it but I have used others too. The only oil that was no Bueno was a semi-synthetic that caused the clutch to slip. A quick change to another oil and problem was fixed.

    Cameras cameras everywhere...

When the politicians drop the speed limit 30% or more below the design speed and install cameras, you are technically breaking the law but it is purely a money game. Roads shpuld stay at their design speed as that is the speed people naturally drive. If politicians want vehicles to slow down...

    Cameras cameras everywhere...

On the small chance they do affect the bad stuff, the effect is moving over slightly to avoid the camera. Rarely is the bad behaviour actually stopped.

Show us your musical instruments or collections thread...

I assume @Matt Rain has things that could be contributed to this thread. As for me, In a past life, I helped others get the best out of what they had. I had the opportunity to touch and play with a lot of awesome stuff. The only musical instruments I have are my dads accordion and concertina...

    Daily sports car?

I care so little my generations were off. I was thinking the mid-engine were C7's. Yours was nice.

    Daily sports car?

I agree. I don't love that ZR1 either. Temu/gino/ricer cars with tons of useless trim stuck all over make cars worse for me. I like the look of the lower trim Corvettes better (and @Gary 's C6 better than all of the C7's).
