#$%@ GP Bikes just made my life harder

If WIX makes a filter for it I buy those as they're always the best in comparisons. If they don't, I get a HiFlo one (also excellent and as good or better than oem). Plus with either you can find them in a case of ~12 for the price of 6 saving tons if you plan to keep the machine that long.

Motorcycle mistakes you only make once... and ones you make all the time...

The one main thing I like about the Shad topbox on my current bike compared to my last two bikes that had Givi's is that it can open/close without a key.

Recent movies you saw - recommend or no

Terminal - reviews are pretty bad but I enjoyed it. https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/terminal_2018

Recent movies you saw - recommend or no

I felt the same way. Great sound and nice visuals (in pleather pants). Story didn't hold my attention.

Recent movies you saw - recommend or no

I watched "A Working Man" recently and although most of his films are a fun easy watch this one had a very low-budget feel with a lame script. Not recommended. Also watched "Nonna's" and it was great. It'll hit you in the feels for sure.

KTM now part of the Bajaj group of India

Bajaj already owned 49% of KTM so seeing them buy up Pierer's equity isn't surprising to keep KTM afloat (which they wouldn't be if it wasn't for Bajaj's money so far this year). Quicker they get Pierer out of there the better imo. Would it be better to have your bike built by Bajaj or CF Moto...

    Appliance Repair

Few years back our new dryer had a TSB as one of the vane's inside had a small hook to grab clothes stuck in the corners but this hook can also pull out the lint trap which is what ours did causing it to suck a sock into the fan (TSB is to replace the one vane with a normal non-hook one). That's...

    Appliance Repair

Sometimes it's just the appliances that suck. Our appliances were all new in 2020. Since then I've had the washing machine flood the house because it was assembled incorrectly at the factory, dryer repaired under warranty twice because of a known defect (the second tech told us about the TSB on...

    Go Leafs Go!

Yup, fans will say they're done with this team and the ridiculous ticket prices then a few months will pass and every gullible one of them will be back feeding the owners with their wallets next season.

When your motorcycle becomes a "vehicle"

Used it to pick up a few dozen seedlings for planting last week and for a trip to the doctors and car shopping this week. Depends on the errands for me but definitely if the roads there are fun or parking will be a challenge.

    Go Leafs Go!

Stolarz repeatedly slashing an Ottawa player then two double-hands (with a big goalie stick mind you) barely below the back of the neck, then hooks him, then drops him (granted the Ottawa guy could have skated around him but Stolarz clearly drops him...

What did you do in your garage today..?

Bag looks good. I'd just leave it on (maybe spray some protectant on it so it doesn't fade).

Do you do a pre-flight check before every ride?

Agreed. Caliper also would have started grinding on the rotor as soon as it was out of alignment and I don't see a rotor in the photo.

    Summer Solstice 2025

I'm tied up that weekend (including Friday) but if it ends up being earlier in the week count me in. Hwy 60 is currently getting dug up just west of Barrys Bay. Only a km or so now but is slated to be a 16km stretch replaced in total so it'll be a mess for while. Might want to check progress...

    Anyone into gardening here?

Plan on planting ~10 pines at the front of our property. Luckily I'm surrounded by a pine forest so I'll pull some that are ~3-5ft tall and move them to the front. Hopefully I can skillfully dig them up without killing them.

    Anyone into gardening here?

I have not but thanks for that cool info, I'll give it a try this weekend with the kiddos. I just asked our local garden supply store what the recommended for our area (they know our area and soil type as we're very sandy (basically beach). What I put down last week is now coming up pretty well...

    Anyone into gardening here?

Definitely wrap that. Even at backroad speeds. Plastic is fine for the short time it'll be on it.

Got a chance to ride at a private track!!!

That looks like a beautifully fun day. Will this lead to more track riding? My track gear has sat quietly in the closet for the past 7yrs since getting back into the offroad scene so I sold it off these past few months. Almost put my leathers on when listing them to see how they felt but I knew...
