    Pickup Trucks

I'm considering rust proofing, both our current vehicles will be driven for as long as possible, also living on a dirt road beats the hell out of the underside so any protection is better than none in my opinion. But I can see why some people are against it.

    Getting old sucks

Got all the normal 'aging' aches and pains. The part that seems to bother me the most is having way more yesterdays than I have tomorrow's.

    Pickup Trucks

Was running an errand yesterday and as I was driving I passed a used car lot with a very nice Ford ranger parked out front. Older one 2009-2011 ish no rust very clean it peaked my interest so when I got home I hoped on their website. I'm obviously out of touch, 16k. My interest diminished, this...

    Pickup Trucks

This is my thinking and why I'm considering a lease over owning. Drive it while under warranty and return it when the warranty runs out. For us vehicles are just to go to work and back and the occasional errands.

We recently looked at the Maverick. Was considering a lease as I wouldn't want to be stuck with one when the warranty expires. Interest rates were offensive, so we'll wait. It is a nice little vehicle, as stated by @mimico_polak the interior is lacking.

What's the weakest link in stopping you from riding longer?

For me it's typically just fatigue, between work and property maintenance. By the time I have time to ride I'm exhausted.

Personally I'm done with travel, seen many places and wish I could see more. If you have the means, interest, and opportunity go for it, typically it is money and time well spent.

    Oil extractor

My push mower runs for almost a complete tank of gas per use. I figure 1-3 hours if I'm really cleaning up the property. I get oil at cost so figure I'd give it a treat after 10 years of use.

    Oil extractor

I just bought a pneumatic one, it was fantastic and a huge time saver. Having a large compressor helped. It was a vevor one from Amazon. Lawn mower and wife's car done, doing the tractor today. Not having to crawl on the ground as much and not dealing with a pan full of oil are two things I...

    Career change

After countless resumes and many interviews, it turned out to be a waste of my time. I've been working part-time at a local company and they offered me a full time position. 6.5 minute commute, great discount on products and equipment that I use, decent people and just slightly less money than...

    E bikes rampaging Toronto streets

I've seen them keeping up with traffic at 80+ kms. Of course, no helmet, tank top & shorts and vaping,..

Yes, both my wife and I have been there. Now commutes around 15 minutes and we're both home much happier.

Agreed, meal time can be stressful when you're short on time. Our goal is just to try to make better food choices. Hard to have a good day/night without the proper fuel.
